Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Remember the Flash game Wrath? Here's a new improved version - Wrath II: [link]

Lightning bolt autofire!

Emmett will be very happy. He loves being god and striking people and sheep down with lighting bolts. He laughs with awful glee at the flying gibbets.

I really should hook him up with Halo and send him after Peev and MM.

I don't know if this is true of Wrath, but in the new version, the more cows you kill with a single lightning bolt, the louder the explosion.

Oh, man. Surgery~ma to Grace and possible-surgery~ma to Noah! Be well and strong, little Buffistas!

I couldn't think of a better way to say this, so Ima quote it. Kat, please remember that I'm right around the corner from the hospital, so if you need a sanity break during one of your visits, please feel free to call.

Library Thing frightens me. It's one of those things that sounds wonderful, but would surely prove so addictive I'd never leave the computer.

This is exactly why I haven't even gone to the website. Addictive plus compulsive = very bad for Kristins.

Oh, and in case anyone is wondering why I'm posting in the middle of the night, my insomnia has decided to pay a little visit. How nice of it! The funny thing is that I had to take muscle relaxers and a Vicoden about an hour ago because I tweaked my back while redecorating/rearranging the bedroom tonight, so my insomnia is paired with a loopy brain. Trying to walk in a straight line in order to fetch my laptop was an interesting experiment. Which failed, spectacularly.

Tomorrow morning is Easter(ish) brunch with Tom Scola (who's currently sleeping soundly in our guest room) and some of the LAistas. I'd really like to not fall asleep in my blueberry pancakes. That would be good.

I'm rambling. Vicoden pretty. Insomnia bad.

Hm. Apparently Vicoden also leads to double-posting. Oops. Then again, since no one else is likely awake, it's a little like someone else is talking to me! I have a feeling I'm not making too much sense.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

I got up at 6am today. I never get up at 6am.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I got up just before 7 AM. That's with a 2 hour insomnia break in the middle of the night, where I listed 30 books on BookMooch.

I now have a 40 item shelf of unread books -- not that I didn't have them before, but now they're all in one place, oppressing me with their unreadness. Still, 40 unread out of 261 listed isn't obscene, is it? Also, because my unread books mostly tend to lurk up here in the office, whereas the bulk of my read books tend to be downstairs, the ratio may be extremely skewed at this point.

I'm pathetically excited at the idea that I'll actually have my library enumerated. I've never had a good count of what I've got.

Jelly Toast:

Oh CRAP! My plan to go out grocery shopping early this morning and maybe buy a printer in the afternoon is going to go afoul of the fact that it's EASTER, isn't it?

Even, since I'm unemployed, I can go tomorrow morning after rush hour is over, doesn't make up for the annoyance. Feh.

Yeah, I just realised I have no coffee and chocolate, and the shops are likely closed outside. And tomorrow, too, as bank holiday here.

Curse my lack of planning.
