We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I wear a 12 medium-to-11 1/2 wide (which is realllly hard to find, so the 12 is what I usually go with).

I'm looking forward to getting the dress--it's being sent priority mail tomorrow (Friday), so I'll probably get it on Monday. I won't be able to fit into it yet, but by mid-summer, it should be fitting great! I like that it's got Lycra in it, so even if I get down to more of a 24 by the wedding, it should still be fitting pretty well even though it's a 26/28.

My next thing for the wedding is to start on the couple's gift (fourth row down, pattern titled "Celtic Wedding"--supplies should be arriving this weekend/next week), and put some clear nail polish on my fingernails so I can stop chewing them and get them to grow some (Kris is thinking about giving all the bridesmaids and mothers mani/pedis before the wedding as her gift).

I think I'm going to pick up some hair dye and experiment some with color while I get the hair growing some before I get a decent cut later this summer. ChiKat, I was going to ask if I can come on over next time you get your hair cut and ask your stylist for a brief consultation for ideas and/or see if he can cut my hair for me--your hair is always so nice!!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Here are some possibilities. How high of heel will you go?

I'm leaning towards as flat as possible--standing up at the wedding, plus who knows how long I'll be standing/dancing at the wedding (although it'll be a small reception, no more than about 75 or so people), and like I said, my knees don't really like heels much. But, even when I was younger, I never wore high heels; the highest I've ever worn was 2 inches, back when I was in junior high!

I meant to say--I like those first ones, but the big flower on the second ones might be a bit much. Although, the wedding is in Vegas, so how much is too much there? (I keep asking my sister if they've got an Elvis impersonator for their justice!)

Oooh, I like those 1" ones!! Very pretty.

I really should get a few things done and then go to bed--I don't get tomorrow off of work, unfortunately!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Although, the wedding is in Vegas, so how much is too much there?

No such thing as "too much" in Vegas. Seriously.
