I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Finally, the end of the world's slowest thread ending.

We were just savoring the Nattery goodness....

Jesse, did you just go to Target recently?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Remember when we used to furnish the new threads? And then we'd always furnish them the same way? Because we were geeks?

Yeah, whatever happened to that new thread smell? Was it bad for the environment?

Because books.

Well, we definitely need a bar.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Just jumping in to say Yay! Under 20!

Under twenty!

Howdy peeps. I got waaay behind in N50, so I just waited for the new thread.

I was just listening to A Prairie Home Companion on NPR and heard a great Cuban band, YeraSon. I came home and went to buy some of their stuff on Itunes, but they're not even listed. Looking at the band web page, I'm not sure they have CDs to sell. They certainly don't have a link to buy something from their site.

In other fun news (x-posted from Bitches) this Firedog Lake post about Michelle Malkin's latest nuttiness includes a Firefly shoutout. Sadly, no one in the comments section seems to have noticed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Jesse, did you just go to Target recently?

I did, yesterday.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Well, I'd drag in my not-so-comfortable chair, but the cat is currently curled up on it. It seems to be her favorite chair in every season other than winter--I moved it to make room for the Christmas tree, then moved it back to its usual place in January, but she never got on it until yesterday. This might mean that she'll stop curling up next to me on my bed pretty soon; she seems to not do that when the weather's nice out (apparently, I'm only good for body heat!).
