Hey, I've been in a firefight before! Well, I was in a fire. Actually, I was fired from a fry-cook opportunity. I can handle myself.

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Have a shot for me tonight?

Oh, damn. Okay.... I actually found a bar that has all the Three Olives flavors. I could go have a Stephtini!

Ann, that's a ferret.

I haven't gone through chemo, but I helped care for Hubs's mother while she was going through it. She had a definite cycle -- worse right after a treatment, then steadily improving until it was time for the next treatment. So, at a guess, the timing of instructions may be a factor.

On the other hand, she had one treatment every 2-3 weeks (being in her mid-60s for the first round and over 70 for the second, plus additional health issues like diabetes). Someone who's getting treatments more frequently may not have the same high points because of shorter recovery time.

And, based on Ginger's comment, it sounds like e-mail is everybody's friend.

Suzi, she's probably equally frustrated. It's really hard to find you can't do things the way you used to.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Get that money, Aims!

Happy anniversary to DJ and DH!

I'm finally home. I have a metric shitload of school work to do, so I'm "working at home" today and tomorrow. I'm going over to juvie hall tonight and tomorrow morning. I am a wee bit overwhelmed.

ETA: I also have a very emotionally needy kitty on my hands.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

How's this?

Dear AssHat,

At this time, I am rescinding the original payment of $620.00. Please submit an invoice to me for $252.50. This amount represents 50% of the final shipping cost ($402.50) and a credit of ($150.00) for the transport of the goods to Pico Rivera that I paid Tom Frizzell, Sr.

Thank you - Aimee

What is even happening?

Aimee,

Dear Asshat,

Because all information I am getting from [company names] indicates to me that I overpaid you significantly, I am rescinding my payment. Please provided me with hard-copy written documentation of the final charges and I will pay 50% of those for which I am responsible, upon receipt.

In your ear,
Aimee
