Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

'Not Fade Away'

Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Nora!!

{{Suzi}} My lack o' patience sister.

I had a great night last night. Went out for Indian food with a friend then went to a high school production of "Grapes of Wrath" where we were asked to adjudicate and give the cast/crew feedback after. The show was pretty good for high school kids and they seemed to really appreciate the feedback we gave them. It was great and reinforces that that's what I'm supposed to do.

And, the school we did it for is the sister school to the one I have an interview with on Tuesday so I picked the dept head's brain for some info on the school and what they are looking for. Woot!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

In other news, these are really pretty shoes. Not pretty enough to actually buy, but pretty.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Nora!

Suzi, I hope your assistant gets some good news soon.

Who wants to give me an alibi for when my neighbors get home, because I might just have to kill them.

I will!

having once reported some neighbors who had a dog that they said they loved ... but who would leave him alone all day and then hit him when they came home and found he'd had an "accident" just about every day and, when they had a party, would tie him up outside for up to eight hours with no water and such a short leash that he could sit or stand in one place but not walk or even lie down.

And I need them! Look! They have my name on them and everything!

I hope the people you need to will get in touch with you soon, Suzi.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

It would probably be wrong to guzzle the Fernet at work. Right?

Nah. Go for it!

Yes, I thought of you when I saw them.
