sj, that situation is ridiculous. If the agent who took you to see the place is any kind of professional, I can't see why they'd continue doing business with that landlady. It would put them in danger of a lawsuit, for going along with her prejudices, and if they agree with her it cuts down on the number of people they can market to. Unless there's a personal relationship between the agent and the landlady, I can't understand any reputable company doing business with her.

Trees are not having as much sex here, but the grasses are really big with the promiscuous pollination. As in they have given lots of pollen to me. As in staying indoors and not moving isn't helping. I really don't want stronger drugs. Even inhaled steroids can make me crazy.
