So I can just listen to my Shuffle? He said it would be only thirty minutes.
They provide the earphones because of the metal issues.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I get to have my first MRI on Thursday. Any tips?
I think I had one when I had vertigo last fall. I was incredibly high on the drugs they'd given me though and slept through/don't remember anything but waiting in the wheelchair afterwards to go back to my room.
Your Shuffle would probably be murdered by the MRI. You're going to be inside a giant electromagnet.
Oh. Right. Curses!
Thirty minutes of deep introspection time! Or, really, I'm sure I'll be ready for a nap.
What does it say about me that 30 minutes in an MRI sounds blissful?
eta: except for the part that something would be wrong with me
I know! Especially with that valium option.
Plei: When I saw you in Seattle you asked about the stable for horses in Central Park. It's closing down.
Speaking of karaoke, Copy Karaoke, go to jail
"Karaoke Pirate" just rolls of the tongue, doesn't it?
P-C, you might want to bring a CD or two with you just in case -- the people running these lengthy procedures know how tedious and stressful they can be, and sometimes, even though you can't bring a Shuffle in, there'll be a boombox somewhere on the premises. No guarantees, but sometimes.
Just don't bring any music so lively you can't help moving to the groove. What you want is nice quiet trancey non-booty-shaking stuff.
Dear Tuesday,
I really do not appreciate your being so Monday-like. Stop stressing me out and making me want to cry and/or have a nervous breakdown. I don't have time.
No love,
Kristin

Oh, thanks for the idea, JZ.
