P-C, you might want to bring a CD or two with you just in case -- the people running these lengthy procedures know how tedious and stressful they can be, and sometimes, even though you can't bring a Shuffle in, there'll be a boombox somewhere on the premises. No guarantees, but sometimes.
Just don't bring any music so lively you can't help moving to the groove. What you want is nice quiet trancey non-booty-shaking stuff.
Dear Tuesday,
I really do not appreciate your being so Monday-like. Stop stressing me out and making me want to cry and/or have a nervous breakdown. I don't have time.
No love,
Kristin

Oh, thanks for the idea, JZ.
The last time I went for an MRI, I was given headphones and allowed to pick a radio station before it started.
Well, great. I think I have a fever. I was cold until I turned on my little heater and now I'm alternating between too hot and chills. Plus I feel like...well like I got run over my something. I was thinkingit was just allergies.
Once I get home I'll check my temperature, but I can't afford to miss work! This sucks.
A guy just walked up. "I'm here to apply for the job opening." Only all he knows is it's an opening in this building. He has no contact information, no name, just a vague description of the job.
"There wasn't any contact information in the ad?" Nooo
"Not a company name?" Nooooo "An address to send the resume, a phone number, a contact person." Nooooo. Nothing just a job description and the location.
I think this is fucking ridiculous:
Professor Fired After Mock Student Shootings
I don't see AT ALL how what he did would warrant
being fired.
Hell, it seems like
his own students
support him.
I really do not appreciate your being so Monday-like.
Poor you! My mom was saying the same thing a bit ago. Bad Tuesday! No biscuit.
I think this is fucking ridiculous:
I don't know a ton about this, but it happened here in Boston (I didn't click the link, but it's been all over the news here, so I'm assuming it's the same one). I don't think it's so ridiculous. There are just some things that are inappropriate...especially so soon after such a tragedy.
I think that it is the definition of a knee-jerk reaction. No disciplinary action? No review? Just fired? It sounds more like a corporate board than a school.
The professor is an adjunct, so it's a different set of rules and standards.
