Hockey? What hockey?
(I may have a new love of hockey.)
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Tampa Bay Lightning (my beloved Bolts) vs Ottawa Senators. But it's on the Sunsports, the regional sports channel.
I don't think that there's any national hockey on, but tomorrow NBC will have Bruins v Penguins or Rangers v Islanders if you want to watch something.
OH, YAY! TOMORROW! HOCKEY!
Hee!
It's a good time to start watching hockey, it's almost play off time.
Bored now. TCG was supposed to go to a rehearsal tonight, but he couldn't get in touch with the guy who runs it to find out a time, so I was hoping it was cancelled. We were just settling in to watch an episode of Buffy when he called.

I'll have stories to go with them a little later on.
I've got a lot more pictures of the non-work activities than I do of the work activities, since during work, my hands were usually getting so dirty that I didn't want to touch my camera. Plus, y'know, working. In between the tree-planting and the campfire, there was an afternoon of clearing brush (during which a whole bunch of people got a rash from some sort of catepillar.)
I was off writing one of my "Countdown" recaps.(If any Bitches are fans, which some of y'all are, they are at [link] I've got Fridays...this one is only okay, but I am proud of my joke about Roger Ailes and Jabba The Hutt.
Mom called, her flight was delayed so she's been put up in a hotel for the night and will get in tomorrow afternoon (rather than 10 pm tonight).
She gave me a quick update, something really scary happened right before she and Aunt J left for the airport. A woman on drugs was wandering the neighborhood and she went into G'ma's neighbor's driveway and the keys to their car were laying out (they were doing yard work and had moved the car), she took the keys, stole the car. The neighbor's wife saw it happened so the husband grabbed his cell phone called 911 and followed in their other car.
The police chased the woman, she almost ran over a cop, and then they had to break the window to get her out.
G'ma doesn't go outside by herself and her house is locked up but it scared Mom and Aunt J. She doesn't open the door to anyone, but what if someone claimed to be a police officer?
Mom's been saying that they'll keep G'ma at home until it's not safe for her or there is some kind of sign. So Mom sees this as a big sign. While she was up there she and Aunt J toured a very nice assisted living facility with a Memory care wing and an enclosed yard with bird feeders and even a pet bunny that roams free. She's hoping there won't be too much of a wait to get G'ma in there.
Well I'm not going to game, but I am going to a gothy bi girls party. All dressed up. Whee!
I'm also tending the door for part of the night, going early to help set up and staying late to help clean up. But I get in for free! And I get a little staff badge!
I have a cat that is difficult to pill. With 2 people, it isn't bad. with one it is almost impossible. It turned out that my attitude helped. 1- I know I will not hurt the cat. I mean no harm. 2_ I am bigger 3- getting sick and going to the vet, even more traumatic for the cat. usually they have to put him under to do anything. 4) for most things it takes being free for him to forget the trauma - when it is some like antibiotics - less than a day.
2 strategies Liquid when ever possible- some will get down him. and a small room where he can't hide is the best place.
