So, you're stylist hadn't heard of a pixie cut?
Maybe she just doesn't care for the pixie. Some stylists think that the client doesn't know what they want and that a pixie will be too short and the client will cry and complain if they cut it that short. During the coloring process I showed her a picture of Selma Blair's new pixie and said, "See, this!" At that point I was fighting a losing battle.
I haven't tried Kenneth's, but I only ever went to Penzone because I got a gift card. My hair's one good layering away from having no style at all, so throwing around the big girl fashion words and talking about "product" makes me just feel dumb.
Penzone did give me a free cut when I donated to Locks of Love, though...
Hi.
Jetlag. No full sentences.
Welcome home, Hil. I hope you had a great trip. Did you bring us presents? (And by presents, I mean pictures.)

corset wearers/appreciators want to view that photo from stuffonmycat.com.
I think I lost an hour somewhere. Or gained one. Daylight savings was all off, so on the way to Israel, I moved my watch ahead seven hours, but on the way back, I moved my watch back six hours. Confuzzling.
In Israel, trees were planted, a forest was made more fire-resistant, a park was spruced up and cleaned, bomb shelters were painted, and some little kids in a hospital were cheered up a bit. And I saw Nilly. More details later.
(Also, my mother just told me not to try to play the piano, because the piano isn't there. I'm looking at the piano right now. I'm not sure which of us is confused.)
Thanks, Sparky! I do have pictures, but I won't be able to get them online until Monday.
And I saw Nilly.
Is jealous. Also, happy for Hil.
