Spike's Bitches 35: We Got a History

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I think I lost an hour somewhere. Or gained one. Daylight savings was all off, so on the way to Israel, I moved my watch ahead seven hours, but on the way back, I moved my watch back six hours. Confuzzling.

In Israel, trees were planted, a forest was made more fire-resistant, a park was spruced up and cleaned, bomb shelters were painted, and some little kids in a hospital were cheered up a bit. And I saw Nilly. More details later.

(Also, my mother just told me not to try to play the piano, because the piano isn't there. I'm looking at the piano right now. I'm not sure which of us is confused.)

Thanks, Sparky! I do have pictures, but I won't be able to get them online until Monday.

And I saw Nilly.

Is jealous. Also, happy for Hil.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Welcome back, Hil! Sounds like a wonderful trip!

What is even happening?

I need more information on this piano situation.

Welcome home, Hil!

Yay for Hil's safe return. Sorry to hear about the daylight saving time-induced piano hallucinations, though.

OK. My mother has explained about the piano. She finally got someone to come and tune the piano. (I'm really the only one who plays it, and I've been away at school, and it hadn't been tuned in probably close to ten years and had become pretty much unplayable.) The tuner came and said that it needed way more than just tuning, so he took out the inside parts (I had no idea that was even possible) to work on it at his shop. So the outside of the piano is there, but there are no strings or hammers or anything.

Always Anti-fascist!

Tep, yeah, EI does look like Laurie right now. Like it, but it does seem that he has an alter or something.
