And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Read Manhunter 16/17. Boy, was I expecting Kate's dad to be some old baddie, but the Atom? Not so much. Also, what a bastard. I love Dylan with a passion, though. Such an unsuccessful dork, but when faced with someone who is even more of a dork than he is, muahahaha! Also, it's just funny that he lost the guy through his teleporter. Oh, points were lost on that one.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Model Sheet from the upcoming Superboy and the Legion of Super Heroes cartoon.

Sort of anime-meets-Al-Hirschfeld. I keep trying to look for the "NINA".

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Heh. I'm really curious to see how those designs look animated. I'm getting a Jay Ward vibe.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Finally got my hands on (the last, as the comic book guy kept reminding me) Batgirl. I figured the Lazarus Pit and her mother would be a combination that'd bring her back, but I figured "her" would be Batgirl. Instead we have a chick called Cain. Hmm. Hmm.

The back pages of all my DC comics says IC5 was out this week. It wasn't, was it? I didn't get it in my pull, and I didn't notice it on the shelves.

Have also read BoP--how does that timeline fit with the most recent issue of Nightwing? Firestorm was...well, very talky.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Model Sheet from the upcoming Superboy and the Legion of Super Heroes cartoon.

Which is so strange given that it was Supergirl that joined the Legion in JLU. Also, however badly drawn, at least it looks like the classic Legion.

Art Crawl!!!

ita, isn't Cain already part of her name? Even before this last issue?

I guess I didn't understand how she came back if she didn't go into the Lazarus pit. Did her mother did so that she could live ?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Sumi, I thought that Cass *was* in the Lazarus Pit. That was what the end of the scene with Steph (and boy, that actually made me a little sniffly, b/c they are SO the OTP) was about -- I assumed that Cass was dead, which is why we saw the Steph scene, but then Shiva tossed Cass in the Pit, which brought her back to life.

Art Crawl!!!

Oh, okay --that makes sense. (What about the other times that she was resurrected? Did we know about that?)

Sumi, I was reacting to the way she called herself merely Cain at the end of the issue--I'm assuming that's what she's going by instead of Batgirl. As for the other resurrections, I'd assumed (loving that ass) Mummy Dearest was referring to the three times of giving her life as a) birth b) giving her back her ability to fight and c) the actual Lazarus pit resurrection.
