I caught her on a park bench, making out with a *chaos* demon! Have you ever seen a chaos demon? They're all slime and antlers.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

I've got to say the 1602 was extremely cool. Very breezy. It seems hard to believe that there will only be 8 issues.

I have a question: Was the Old Man Javier?

Also, If the Grand Inquisitor is Magneto, does that mean he doesn't know that he is a "witchbreed"? Or maybe he has no powers?

I am supremely in love with the idea that Virginia Dare's protector is Steve Rogers. Gaiman is a genius.

All this so that Neir Gaiman can regain the Miracleman/Marvelman rights. Well, at least the fans benefit.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Yo Plei--you get my email?

Nothing to say about 1602 save that I'll hopefully be getting it soon.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

OK, I'm going to have to go into the comic book store and get 1602. Damn you all! I haven't set foot in a comic store in 15 years, except to get my Lovely Wife comic boxes, which work perfectly for storing sewing patterns.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

You know, the Captain America idea never occured to me, even though the guardian's name is "Rojhas" or something like that. Duh.

Can't wait 'til the next issue.

I would have never thought of Steve Rogers. Yes! A Marvel character that I actually know something about (sorta).

My UBERcomicgeek!co-worker has sworn off buying "new" comics for years, the only comic he buys new issues for is Thor. And he is breaking down and getting 1602 this afternoon because I won't shut up about it.

We are engaged in a be-as-addicted-as-me war. He just got me a subscription to Wizard and I keep leaving my copies of the Last Man on his desk.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

tina, get him the first issue of Thor: Vikings. That is a entry drug to other Garth Ennis books...

Just remembered, I did have to go into a comic store a few years ago to get God Loves, Man Kills for my son for Xmas.

Sweet!

Addiction and poverty - they're both so much better when you can drag your friends down with you.

Another social casualty...

I spent several minutes puzzling over "Rojhas"'s name, trying to figure out what it was supposed to translate to, but Rogers never occurred to me. I guess because I'm not that familiar with Captian America and had forgotten his name is Steve Rogers.
