Nah, I liked what you said.
I do like Elastigirl as a metaphor for the overextending mother, though. Although...is she? She didn't have a job, did she?
Discussion of Buffy and Angel comics, books, and more. Please don't get into spoilery details in the first week of release.

Just homemaker. But as was said in the beginning all the heroes have secret identities but we never get to see what they are before they're forced to retire.
Okay, okay, I'll go see the Incredibles. My arm can only twist so far.
...actually I'm just going as an excuse to see this one girl, but y'know, it'll be nice when I can actually participate in the ridiculous amount of Incredibles discussion on this board.
You haven't seen The Incredibles ? What the fuck is wrong with you?
That movie is so good, we're talking about it in the comics thread!
I've been thinking about how much I like it, because I was thinking maybe I thought Finding Nemo better, but lately I'm thinking it may be better because I can identify with superheroes better than fish. Finding Nemo may be funnier, though.
And my disbelief is heightened by the fact that I thought an old-school comics fan like Broomy would surely have seen it by now.
I don't watch movies unless I have friends who'll go with me, and my circle of friends has a habit of going to see movies without telling me. Fortunately, this girl seems to have the same problem.

Cool. Something in common. ;)

I was about to say. There's a girl now, dammit!
I know there are lots of superheroes who are related, but I can't think of ones who actually fight as a family.
Power Pack - but they were siblings. And kids.
