As I thumbed through my Star Trek Encyclopedia last night I thought: Wouldn't it be nice to have an ME tell all that gave us the chronology and history and character development arc, etc. of all the ME offerings? Ya know, a book of facts and consumate ep guide for us to pick up whenever there was a debate and get the real story? I'd be willing to bet that those who here in post would be a huge help in developing such a 'manual' .... ya think?

Comic Hive-mind question:
I've been reading the Sandman series in graphic novel form, and at the beginning of Book 7, Dream has just broken up with someone. Who was that? Or are we not supposed to know yet?
Heh. Being at exactly the same point in my re-reading, I don't believe we know. It's not stated. It's just a love affair.
The Annotated Sandman is your friend.
Thanks Dana! Each time I start one of the novels I end up staying up really late to finish it. I'm trying to pace myself because I know there's just 10 of them.
I stalled out halfway through 9 because I didn't want to get to the end. I did, eventually, but that's the first time somethng like that has happened to me in a long time.
Wolfram, in Book 9, The Kindly Ones. it is indicated that another character had a previous relationship with Dream. I am not totally sure how far in the past their relationship had ended, but I think that is the one referenced at the beginning of Book 7.
Okay, I just wanted to be sure it wasn't the girl from Books 3 & 5 or the one from Book 2. I didn't remember him having relationships with them.
I don't think that the relationship was ever explicitly shown in the books, Wolfram. You didn't miss anything obvious.
In completely unsurprising news: the last issue of Fray is delayed until early July. (According to the Dark Horse website.)
Oy. I was looking forward to June.
so, it does stop at ten then? There's nothing beyond?
