Wolfram, in Book 9, The Kindly Ones. it is indicated that another character had a previous relationship with Dream. I am not totally sure how far in the past their relationship had ended, but I think that is the one referenced at the beginning of Book 7.

Okay, I just wanted to be sure it wasn't the girl from Books 3 & 5 or the one from Book 2. I didn't remember him having relationships with them.

Damn - when I asked about Fray back in February at MegaCon, it sure seemed like they were going to hit the deadline. I wonder how soon they will turn the run into a collection, and how much it will cost (me, 'cause who am I kidding? I'm sure to buy it).

No, it stops at #8. However, there were intimations in the Dark Horse article that Joss may want to write more Fray stories, and other work will be coming from him, probably in 2004.
