So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Speaking of similar names and confusion therein, on amych's recommendation in her LJ, I tried to read Te's fic that was labelled "Connor/Tim." (I know, Superboy is almost always referred to as "Kon," but I didn't know of the existence of this other Connor.) I was so. damn. confused.

Kon is Conner with an e.

Connor Hawke, Ollie's son and Roy's sort-of brother, is Connor with an o. You should really read the Boy's Night Out issue of Green Arrow from a few months ago, where Roy takes Connor to a strip club.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

he's just anemic from the veggie lifestyle.

No, it's the nocturnal hanging around on rooftops lifestyle, I think -- back in the ashram he was both veggie and ethnically-nonspecific.

an overblown libretto and a sumptuous score/ could never contain the contradictions I adore

Cass and Cassie isn't as bad as Connor and Connor. Didn't the DC writers have a baby-name book?

I think Superboy spells his differently-- with a K, and possibly an e. Also, don't forget Arrowette, whose name is Cissie.

The DC writers apparently *have* a baby name book, but it's from the 1950s and someone's taped all the pages outside the Cs together.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Kon is Conner with an e.

Connor Hawke, Ollie's son and Roy's sort-of brother, is Connor with an o.

Aha! The E--O factor! And I didn't even catch the O. Mostly because I didn't know of Connor-with-an-O's existence.

But maybe Star City doesn't have anywhere for healthy veggie foodstuffs, so he's been living on iceburg and Minute Rice.

Though your wank works, too.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Hee hee. Hi, Holli!

Holy alliteration, Batman!

Connor with an O rocks hard.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

They would. They really, really would.

Wasn't Superboy concerned a few months back about having Luthor DNA as if evil were a congenital defect?

Yep, he sure was.

Knowing Kon, he was more concerned about the male pattern baldness.
