Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

I may have to seize the cat.

Ultimate Comics?

Yes.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'd rather you were moving to my end of town, but you get the better comics store out of the deal!

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

There were two alternate covers for Astounishing X-Men, and the rarer one was selling for like $50/issue when it was first released. This, as I said to our IT guy, is what is wrong with comics.

Superman Birthright #11 - By this time, I'm just collecting it to keep the run intact.

Buh? Whu? I love Birthright. Clark Kent -- a woobie in all media.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Ah. Wasn't aware of the dual-cover thing.

Thrive to spite them

The cover that the store was selling for $8 is the one with just Wolverine's claws extended.

Which the other store had roughly 10 copies of at regular price.

Art Crawl!!!

What does the limited edition cover look like?

(I think that the regular cover looks pretty cool.)

Thrive to spite them

Here is a picture of all three covers from an ebay auction.

I think the cover with the whole team is the rarest but I'm not sure.

So, on my lunch break I ran to the store that is now my favorite. They did not have The Outsiders #10, even though I swore I saw more than one copy yesterday. I ended up buying only the new Batgirl and forgetting to ask about GCPD.

I'm going to wait until Saturday when I can hit the other store that's in an inconvienent location for me and see what they have.

I may have to seize the cat.

I was thinking on the "This is what's wrong with comics" problem, and - it could be worse... they could be foil covers.

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

What's that I see on the horizon? Is it 1994, it's time come round at last? Oh, the fear.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Jeff Mejia! I need your mailing address so that you may receive your Class Protector Medal. My profile addy is good.

They had a huge stack of Astonishing X-Men at the Berkeley Comics & Comix (just the regular cover). I had no problem buying it a week after it was out.

Ple, I now possess Dark Victory for compare and contrast purposes.
