Askye, never go in on Tuesday. Because you have to go in Wednesday anyway, and it just makes you spend more money.

Heh. When I get home, I really ought to post the updated list of all my trades and graphic novels so everyone here understands what it means when you think, "Oh, I'll just pick up one."
Yeah, me too.
Where my store really gets me is that they only let you charge if you're spending $10 or more, and I almost never have cash.
It's like eating a potato chip laced with HEROIN.
Heh. Yesterday's bookstore conversation re: Quiver
"You don't need to buy that. You have the scan."
"But what if I want to read it in bed?"
"I have it. You can borrow my copy."
"But I want to read it in bed at my house. Your copy is at your house."
"Borrow it today."
"Okay.... But what if I want to keep reading it at dinner? I think I need a copy to carry with me everywhere."
Umm, yeah.
Where my store really gets me is that they only let you charge if you're spending $10 or more, and I almost never have cash.
You mean you can go to the comics store and spend less than $10?
Huh. I don't have that much willpower.
And I forgot to post my list of trades last night because I was too busy writing gen Robin fic. Oops.
Somehow, this wound up being a seven comic day.
- Batgirl #52,
- Batman #628
- Batman Harley & Ivy #2 (Of 3)
- Flash #210
- Green Lantern #177
- Astonishing X-Men #1
I'm not sure how I feel about that.
Is that the stuff they have on hold for you, or do you actually go to the comic book store before work?

And also it makes you look like a big dork who has nothing better to do than go to a comic book store twice a week.
Not that I'd know anything about that. *cough*
So, how did Astounishing X-Men turn out? Was it astounishing?
After work, I'm at least picking up Batgirl #52, Batman #628, Harley & Ivy #2, Astonishing X-Men #1, and Ultimate X-Men #46. And then I shall, um, probably spend an indecent amount of money on trades.
And also it makes you look like a big dork who has nothing better to do than go to a comic book store twice a week.
I do on occasion hit the store on Wednesday and Saturday. Wednesday's for new-new-gimme-gimme, and Saturday's for crawling around on the floor digging for backissues, or diving into the discount bin.
It takes effort to be this much of a dork.

Stuff I send Paul in to buy on his lunch hour. I didn't have time to set up holds this week, so we're still going on our AtS schedule.

I hit one comic book store (usually) twice a week, and have weekly visits to two others. I suspect that I've hit my limit on titles I can be expected to follow, so there will be less of me going and hunting for back issues to fill in the gaps than is going on right now.
