Don't worry, we're sure to spot Faith first. She's like this cleavagy slut-bomb walking around 'Ooh, check me out, I'm wicked-cool, I'm five-by-five.'

Now if only I could figure out why her Titans sucked so bad.

From the interviews, I'd say her main area of interest is the Batfamily. I know I find it difficult to write a compelling story about characters I don't care about.

And one friend of mine was stunned speechless by the HoYay when I told her where Superboy came from

Whenever I'm trying to explain it, I pretty much end up with "Superboy has two daddies. No, really. But worry not -- no male pregnancy was involved. We think."

OK, now you guys are makin' shit up.

Every time I think someone's makin' shit up, they send me a scan, and I have to say, "Okay, so Impulse really did put on a cheerleader's uniform and wave his pom poms for Robin in such-and-such issue of Young Justice."

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Okay. Here's how I think it went: Indigo travelled back in time to the 21st century, and in the process of seeking out other robotic life, was using a Superman robot to repair herself (after having apparently attacked Cyborg, but really it was a wacky misunderstanding). Donna Troy was killed during this process.

As was Lillith. It kind of bit.

Kory seems to have been talked back into the Titans by Gar. She's very cranky, and is probably going to kill and eat the Super Dog.

Kory returned to Earth (again) during the "Our Worlds at War" crossover thing, IIRC.

I love Impulse. That kid's nuts.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Impulse and Robin are just dolls.

Whenever I'm trying to explain it, I pretty much end up with "Superboy has two daddies. No, really. But worry not -- no male pregnancy was involved. We think."

And damn, this makes me giggle.

God, I hope so. There is no need for Super Dog.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There is no need for Super Dog.

You can't say that! If Conner, the superpowered fruit of an impossible union, doesn't get in touch with his softer side, we could be in a lot of trouble.

And this would be bad....how? (c.f. conversation in the Buffy thread, or, It's All About The Dark, Baby.)

Huh. You got me there. I assume he'll be taking his shirt off, right?

But of course. Evil should always be as shirtless as possible.

Except that fat freaky Balthazaar demon in Buffy S2.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Whereas Dick had him, Bruce had no one.

What about Alfred? There's probably backstory and characterization I'm missing here.

I was about to ask the same question.

I know in the golden age Batman continuity (such as it was) Alfred looked like Alfred Hitchcock (hence the name) and came in after Bruce and Dick were already in operation. They tried to keep their secret from him, but being a butler he found out without much trouble.

I'm not sure when he changed to the thin Alfred of later years, and I seem to remember his backstory changing so that he'd always been with Bruce, but I have no idea how that works with current continuity.
