I lack big cable (no SciFi), but just watched Stargate Atlantis S1 with a friend who bought the boxed set. If anyone still has the first episode of S2, I would dearly appreciate not having to wait for the S2 boxed set to finish up the cliffhanger. Either VHS or DVD is fine. I'll be going dark grey after Wednesday for about 10 days, but if you can help, go ahead and email my profile addy and I'll get back to you with a snail mail address as soon as I can. Be sure to include any preferences you may have for thank you gifts. Some possibilities are chocolate, Alaskan stuff, or something home-made: caramel corn, magnets, or crocheted snowflakes. Of course, this would be in addition to covering postage and tape/DVD costs. Thanks!

Sumi, it looks like the taping was successful, and so far the audio seems okay....
I taped it off of a secondary house antenna (we have no cable here) so I won't know for sure the taping was successful until I sit down and watch, probably tomorrow. Other tapings have occassionally had the audio completely eaten by static, and rendered unwatchable, so let me get back to you after tomorrow, and see if I was able to watch the whole thing.

Aaaand, thanks Sumi. My tape was just fine. I finally watched my tape. The audio faded in and out for a bit, but it was otherwise watchable.
