Look, Angel, I know you've been out of the loop for a while, but I'm still evil. I don't do errands...unless they're evil errands.

"The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be."

Repost from natter.

I was out of town for last week's Farscape. My GF taped it, but last night we found out that the tape is without sound. Not a peep. Quiet as the grave.

If anybody in the Greater Somerville area has a tape I could borrow, I'd be most grateful.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Tom -- I've sent mail. I believe I've still got it, but won't know for sure until I get home!

Never have I waltzed to "My Country 'Tis of Thee," nor met anyone who did. Still, it's a waltz, for it's written in waltz time...---Tom Waits

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ANYONE!!!!!!!! I am in living hell. I have just gotten SUPREMELY addicted to Buffy (yeah, I'm a late-bloomer...sue me...) and got through the first 3 seasons within 3 weeks. No joke. I found someone (a customer at the video store I work at!) who had a few episodes of Season 4 on tape, and lent them to me, but I need from "Something Blue" onwards..... Can ANYONE help? I really want to get this accomplished before the season finale, I know I can watch it in like, 3 days....I live in L.A.....I will bake you cookies, leave something precious with you...whatever, drive to get them AND drop them back off...whatever you need....CAN ANYONE HELP?????

Let me just say that popularity with people on public transportation does not equal literary respect. --Jesse

Lyra, I haven't received last week's Angel from my tape source yet (it's probably in my mail box as I type) so if you're still in need, I'll have it.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

Our VCR currently won't respond to commands by remote, which is the only way one can program it to record something; so I know I'm going to miss this night's Buffy (I have to be out tonight). Could I please, please beg for anyone's assistance with a VHS tape or a CD of a downloaded episode? I would love you forever.

Up with the sun

Thanks, Jess. I got a download of it to work, and that's pretty much all I need.
