Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Here is the promo that aired for the season premiere of Angel on the WB this Wednesday night:

Narrator: 2 Weeks from tonight.

We open with part of the power shot from "Fool For Love"/"Darla", where we see Angel and Spike (Darla is behind them, but out of focus), strolling through the Chinese streets during the Boxer rebellion.

Narrator: Theirs was a brotherhood stained in blood.

Cut to a close up of of a grinning Spike, in vamp-face, after telling Angel that he just killed a Slayer.

Switch to a close up of Angel in vamp-face (and period wig (shudder)).

Angel (VO): Angel and Spike

Cut to a shot of William stomping through a London street, just after bumping into Drusilla, Darla, and Angelus.

Spike (VO): aka William the Bloody.

Cut to a shot of Spike standing in the gypsy family's wagon just after he massacred them.

We switch out of flashback mode and see a shot of the LA skyline at night. A bright light, like a meteor, is visible in the sky.

Fade into a shot of sunrise over Los Angeles.

Cut to a shot of Angel from the power shot in "Darla".

Narrator: Now, centuries later...

Cut to a shot of the sun quickly setting.

Cut to an aerial shot of LA at night.

We then see a shot of what appears to be Angel walking down an empty alley at night, near a parking garage.

Fade in on a shot of Angel, dressed in a dark grey suit jacket and black shirt (no tie) standing in an office, presumably at Wolfram & Hart.

Angel (VO): What do you want from me?

Cut to a shot of Spike walking through an office lobby. He is wearing his duster.

Cut to Spike standing in front of some windows with blinds. It is night, and there is no light on inside the location that he is in. He is talking to someone at the camera location.

Spike: "I want it to end."

Narrator: ...Angel has found salvation in the living.

Cut to a shot of Angle walking into an office (at Wolfram & Hart), during daytime. There are many, many windows in the office and there are no curtains visible, but the view of other buildings is.

Cut to a shot of someone (presumably Angel) swinging from a rope towards another building. He is at what appears to be at a high distance from the ground. The shot is at night (and looks very cool, from this transcriber's point of view).

Cut to a shot of Angel leaning against his desk in his office. A weapons cache is visible behind him as he rubs his chin and talks.

Angel: "We're going to change things."

Cut to Angle (dressed in the business attire) entering a darkened room where many people are standing and talking, like a cocktail party. Spike is standing next to Angel.

Cut to a shot of a brightly-lit corridor of some institution, where many (I count 6) soldier types with rifles are running around to set up an attack or something.

We then see a shot of Angel and Spike talking to each other in a lab of some kind.

Spike: "Another vampire with a soul."

Inside the lab, we see Angel (I think) do some kind of Matrix-y maneuver where he runs towards and up a wall, then spins and kicks some soldier-type in the face.

Narrator: The other is lost somewhere in between.

We see a shot of Spike standing in the doorway of an office, peering over the threshold to see if the coast is clear as the camera zooms in on him.

Fade to a shot of Spike standing in an office, looking perplexed.

Cut to a shot of Spike standing in a lab. Fred (in a lab coat) is behind him, holding a chart. Angel is further back, seated at a table. Gunn (in a suit) is standing next to Angel.

Fade to a shot of Fred (in a print dress) standing in the office with all the uncovered windows.

Fred (VO): Maybe he's here for a reason.

Cut to a close up of Spike standing while he glances down at the floor.

Fade to a shot of someone's feet and legs (wearing pants and black dress shoes) walking down a corridor.

Fade back to the Spike close-up, but this time he's talking to someone.

Spike: "The ground underneath me is pulling me in."

Cut to a shot of Spike hunched over in pain in an office.

Fade to black, then fade in on Spike standing in the office, holding his right hand up and screaming in pain.

Spike: Aaaagh!

A large, glowing SPIKE graphic appears on the screen.

Flash out, then flash in on the Angel season premiere logo, which is the normal logo superimposed over a shot of the LA skyline at dusk.

Narrator: The season premiere of Angel, 2 weeks from tonight on the WB Wednesday.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Here is part 1 of the promo for next week's Angel premiere, "Conviction" :

The whole promo is backed by a driving rock guitar soundtrack.

We open on an aerial shot of LA at dusk as the camera quickly zooms around the central business district.

Cut to a shot of the sun quickly setting in the west.

Flash to an aerial shot of LA at night. Amongst the buildings, a bright light is visible in the sky.

Narrator: In the City of Angels...

Cut to a shot of Angel on a rooftop at night. He is looking down on the streets, and then turns his head over his right shoulder back towards the camera.

Switch to a shot of a seedy-looking guy talking to a blonde girl in an alley.

Narrator: no good deed...

Pull out to a shot from above the buildings, as we see a figure leap from the top of one building, across the alley, to another building. The figure is silouhetted against another building that is lit from below.

Cut to a close up of the seedy man and the wonam in the alley. The woman looks worried, like she is about to scream (or laugh?).

Narrator: ...goes unnoticed.

Cut to a shot from the ground, looking up at an angle towards a building around the alley. We can see a darkly clad figure swinging on a rope or cable down towards the ground (and the camera location). The figure casts a shadow on the wall next to him.

The seedy man appears to be attacking the woman. The swinging figure hurtles into the scene, plowing into the guy and causing him to flip over. The woman is huddled against the wall of the nearest building.

Switch to a shot from behind the seedy guy, as we see Angel (facing the camera) rear back to throw a punch. He clobbers the guy with a right cross.

Flash to a negative of the next shot, then it resolves into a shot of a guy in a suit pointing towards the left of the scene, while another guy is taking pictures with a professional flash camera. This appears to be in the alley.

Reverse to a shot of Angel standing in the alley (dressed in black suti coat and black shirt). He is blinking from the camera flash.

Pull back to see Angel standing and turning towards his right and back. The cameraman walks in the direction that Angel is looking, while a third guy is standing past Angel and looking in the same place.

Switch to a shot of Angel standing in the alley, talking to the blond girl and looking at a book or newspaper. A dark-haired girl is standing next to the blonde girl.

Blonde woman: "You did this for publicity?"

Quick cut to a shot of Angel kicking down a door to a warehouse or office.

Cut back to Angel talking to the blonde woman.

Angel: "I help the helpless."

Switch to a shot of the main lobby of Wolfram and Hart. Angel is walking towards the camera location, with a file folder in his hand. He is reading it while he is walking, then closes it. To the left and in front of him is Wesley. Wesley is wearing his ordinary shirt. Behind him is Gunn, looking sharp in a very nice suit.

Switch to a shot of Angel, standing in his office and drinking coffe as a blonde woman stands in front of him, looking on.

Narrator: So it's a good thing that Angel's well connected

Cut to a shot of an office lobby, where we see Spike un-dissolving from dust. He is holding his right arm up and he is screaming. One could theorize that he is in a similar position as when he was dissolving to dust near the end of "Chosen".

Cut to a shot of an office or hallway. Angle is closest, looking in the direction of the camera. He looks might pissed off. Wesley (sporting a tan leather jacket, perhaps) is behind him and looks on with concern.

Angel : "Spike."

Cut to a shot of Spike in the office, hunched over in pain.

Switch to (presumably) Spike's view of the office. We see ablurry image of Angel looking on, then the scene swings to the left to Wesley, then skips over and clears up on a shot of Fred. Somebody's right shoulder in a dark pinstripe coat is standing to Fred's left. The anlge swings around again and gets blurry, with another shot of Wesley appearing, then we swing back in the other direction blurrily to Fred, then we see that Gunn is the person next to Fred in the pinstripes, where it focuses again.

Narrator: It's a partnership made in-

We then see Harmony come charging into the office.

Harmony: "-hell are you doing here?"

Switch back to a shot of Spike, hunched over and reeling from the experience.

Flash a very quick arieal shot of LA in the daytime, then cut to an office scene. Angel is sitting or leaning on a desk and is looking towards Gunn, who is standing at the camera location and is talking to Angel.

Angel: "I'm in a meeting."

Cut to a shot of Spike, standing in front of some interior office windows.

Spike: "Oh I'm sorry,"

The shot stretches to a funhouse tall and skinny view, then snaps back to normal.

Spike; "I didn't care."

This next shot is a bit complicated to describe. In the office lobby, near the elevator doors, we see Angel grabbing another guy by the neck while the guy is standing behind him. Angel has actually run up the wall between the elevators, and does a complete flip while still holding on the the guy behind him. Angel ends up landing behind the guy and taking him down. Visible in the background as this is happening, we see people in suits on the ground floor looking on from office doorways, while we also can see that a second floor has a view of the lobby and people are standing next to the railing, looking down at the action.

Spike (VO): "I bet you're loving this."

Cut to ashot of an office or a classroom, where some guy wearing a woolen ski mask is attacking Angel, but he does the "run up the wall, turn, and kick the guy in the face" move that was in the previous promo.

Cut to a shot of Angel seated in his office chair.

Angel: "A dream come true.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

And here is the remainder of the promo breakdown for next week's Angel episode, "Conviction" :

Reverse back to Spike, standing in front of the interior office windows.

Spike: "If a certain Slayer could see you now."

Switch back to Angel, where he gives one of his patented guilty looks.

Flash and cut to a scene of Angel, Wesley, and Gunn strolling through the lobby. Angel is in his office attire, Wesley is still in his mustart shirt and jeans, and Gunn is dressed down in street clothes and is holding a basketball as they stride through the shot.

Narrator: Angel, the new season begins, next week on the WB Wednesday.

Cut the Angel logo with the "LA at dusk" backing image.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Here is the promo for next week's Angel episode, "Just Rewards" :

Narrator: Next week, on the WB Wednesday...

After seeing the WB Wednesday logo, we open on Spike, in Angel's office, hunched over in pain after he re-materialized.

Gunn: "This is Spike?"

We cut to a shot from Spike's point of view as he whirls around, looking at the MoG in the office.

Wesley: "He's a vampire,..."

Spike first looks at Fred (with Gunn's right shoulder to her left), then the shot cuts back to Spike, still in pain and looking very puzzled. The shot switches back to his point of view as we see Lorne looking on.

The shot focuses back on Spike, as he straightens up and looks pissed off as he stares at somebody off-camera.

Wesley: "...second only to-"

A close up of Angel appears. He looks a bit angry himself.

Angel: "-me."

Flash, then cut to Angel (in the driver's seat) and Spike sitting in a car. The shot is from the passenger side, closest to Spike. He is leaning back in the seat and talking to Angel, who is looking straight ahead and has yet another pissed-off look on his face.

Spike: "This'll be fun, eh? You and me together again."

Cut to a shot of Angel standing in what looks to be an office lobby of some kind, wiht red leather chairs in the background. Angel is waving his arms and hunching his shoulders in an almost "I give up" pose.

Cut to a shot of Spike standing in front of the interior windows of an office, as he leans against the wall and looks on with his eyebrows raised.

Switch to a shot of Angel kicking the doors of an office down.

Cut to another shot of Angel pummeling some guy in an office.

Cut to a reaction shot of Spike, looking on in indifference.

Narrator: There's a new dream team.

We see Angel and Spike walking down a corridor at Wolfram & Hart, with Angel out in front and Spike a bit further back.

Cut to a shot of Angel's office, as we see Angel in the foreground, with Gunn a little behind and to his right, and Wesley standing next to Gunn, directly behind Angel. Angel is talking to somebody off-camera.

Angel: "Out of my chair!"

Reverse to a shot of Spike seated in Angel's chair behind his desk. Three metal buckets are on the desk in front of him. There buckets look like the interior has been smeared with blood.

Spike: "Make me."

Cut to a shot of Angel and Spike standing together, apparently in somebody's home, in the foyer.

Angel: "I'm from Wolfram & Hart."

Reverse to a shot of a formally dressed man in a bow tie (perhaps a butler) as he wrinkles his brow. The sound stops for a beat.

Reverse back to Angel and Spike.

Spike: "I'm his date."

Angle rolls his eyes at this.

Narrator: An all-new Angel, next week on the WB Wednesday night.

Cue the new Angel logo.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Here is the promo breakdown for the next Angel episode, "Unleashed" :

Narrator: Next week on the WB...

We open on a shot of Angel walking in the corridors of Wolfram & Hart. People can be seen walking about.

Fade to a shot of Fred and Wesley standing next to each other, in Angel's office, looking serious.

Cut to a shot of Angel seated at his desk, as he tilts his head upwards and has a surprised look on his face.

Narrator: The man who loved Buffy, may be falling in love again.

Fade to black, then fade in on a close up of a blonde woman seated in the passenger seat of a car. (Recapper's note - she reminds me of a young Meredith Baxter.)

Switch angles to see Angel seated in the driver's seat of the car, looking over towards the woman.

Fade to white, then fade in on Spike standing in the lab. Wesley is next to him, working on a computer and looking at the very large flat-screen monitor.

Cut to a shot of Gunn, Wesley, and Fred in an office, each looking intently at something. Gunn is reading some document, Wesley is holding and examining a curved knife, and Fred is looking at something down on the desk.

Spike: "The moon's a-rising, ladies and gents."

Cut to a shot of the blonde woman, wearing a pink sweat suit, running at night (can't tell location, because it is dark).

Cut to a shot of Angel leaning against the doorway to an office, with Fred at 90 degree angle to him. Both look serious, Angel looks worried.

Cut back to Spike standing in the lab. People can be seen working in the background.

Cut back to the woman running.

We get a flash, then a negative shot that fades in and out, then a complete shot of a full moon.

As the image of the moon fades (but is still visible), we get an aerial shot of LA at night.

Narrator: But this attraction may not survive the night.

Cut to a shot of the blonde woman standing in a room of a house or apartment, at night, but with no lights on, illuminated by moonlight. The woman tenses up.

Superimposed over the next few shots is a full moon.

We see a shot of Angel standing outside of a house at night. He suddenly turns around back towards the house and looks up.

We see the woman crash to the floor on all fours.

Intersperse a shot of a werewolf snarling as it stands in the house.

Quick shot of the woman on the floor, but she has twisted around so that she is on her back. She is writhing in pain.

We get another quick shot of the werewolf.

We get the woman on the floor intercut with the werewolf two more times (very quickly), then the screen flashes white, and the shot of the moon is no longer superimposed over the picture.

Out of the flash, we get a full-on shot of the werewolf, from behind, as it spins aruing over its left shoulder towards the camera and the shot zooms in on it.

Fade to black, the come out with a shot of Gunn seated in Angel's office.

Gunn: "Werewolf girl. Think you got a shot?"

Cut to Angel, sitting casually in a chair.

Angel: "She gave me a look."

Cue the Angel logo.

Narrator: An all-new Angel, next week on the WB Wednesday night.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Here is the breakdown of the previously that aired before "Just Rewards":

(Angel) Previously on Angel...

Note: All shots are scenes from "Conviction".

We open with Angel fighting a vampire in an alley as it attacks a blonde woman. After some quick cuts of the fight, we see Angle pull out a stake and dust the vampire.

The blonde woman appears in close up as she talks to Angel.

Nameless victim: "Who are you?"

Cut to a shot of commandoes rushing into the alley, then Angel reacting to all the camera lights, then he twirls around as the commando squad secures the area.

Cut to a shot of some woman funtionary talking to the victim as she reads off a document on a clipboard for the victim to sign.

Nameless funtionary: "OK, this is to confirm that you have been rescued by Angel, CEO and President of Wolfram and Hart."

Cut to a shot of another lawyer directing the group as a cameraman gets ready to take a picture.

Switch to a shot of Angel standing next to the victim, as she turns towards him.

Nameless victim: "You run a law firm?"

We get a quick intercut of Angel being illuminated by a camera flash, then come back to Angel answering the girl's question.

Angel: "Well, just lately."

Cut to a shot of the lobby of Wolfram and Hart. Fred, holding a box that contains some of her belongings, is talking to Wesley as people scurry by.

Wesley: "Why on earth are we here?"

Fred: "What, because we're crusaders against evil and now the law firm that represents most of the evil in the world has given us its L.A. branch to run however we want?"

Cut to a different shot of the lobby, as we see Angel, Wesley, and Gunn (twirling a basketball) stride through the establishment.

Angel: "We're turning this place inside out."

Cut to a different shot of the lobby, as Lorne is on his phone talking to a client, while an assistant is walking beside him, holding a folder full of papers and opening it so that Lorne can read them.

Lorne; "Yes it's perfect, it's the project you've been waiting for. Yea, it's Joanie Loves Chachi meets The Sorrow and the Pity."

We then switch to a shot of Angel seated at his desk as he looks up towards someone who has walked into the office.

Angel: "Harmony?"

Reverse to see Harmony, dressed in business attire, as she stands in front of the desk, eager to make a good impression.

Harmony: "Hey! Boss."

Cut back to Angel.

Angel: "You're my secretary."

What then follows is a quick visualization of the lab facilities at Wolfram and Hart. Various people in white coats stand in front of impressive-looking, metallic instruments, taking notes. We get a shot of a couple of workers in containment suits as the move objects around in a room enclosed by plexiglass. We then pull back to see the scope of the room, as various people wearing white coats are seated at metallic tables, working.

Fred (VO): "Have you seen my lab? It's giganimous, and I'm in charge."

Cut to Gunn's office, as Eve, standing up from her seated position on his couch, talks to him.

Eve: "Just wondering if you're ready for the next step."

Reverse to Gunn.

Gunn: "You don't know me or you wouldn't ask that question."

Quick cut to a shot of a shirtless Gunn strapped into the Insta-Lawyer-Matic. Gunn winces in pain as the machine operates.

We then get a quick shot of Gunn, now nattily attired in a pinstripe suit and carrying an expensive-looking briefcase, strides into the courtroom, adjusting his tie as he walks in.

Cut to a scene in Angel's office, as Eve explains what went on, while Gunn sits on a couch (he's chopping a cigar end) while Wesley hovers around, and Harmony exits the office.

Eve: "Charles agreed to let us enhance his mind with a comprehensive knowledge of the law."

Cut to a shot of Angel, chin in his hand, as he ponders the gang's next move.

Angel: "We're gonna change things. We came to Wolfram and Hart because it's a powerful weapon."

Cut to a shot of Angel ripping open a manila envelope, and a medallion pops out and hits the floor.

Angel (VO): "We'll deal with whatever comes next."

The medallion begins to glow, Angel steps back, then a whirling dust cloud emerges and resolves itself into the form of Spike.

Spike: "Aaagh!"

Switch to a shot of Angel and Wesley looking on as Spike appears.

Wesley: "Spike!?!"

Angel (very p.o'd.): "Spike."

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Here is the promo for today's Mejia episode, "Happy Birthday":

Narrator (who sounds a lot like Jon B.): Today, on the Phoenix Wednesday...

After seeing the Buffistas.org logo, we open on a group of Buffistas, gathered around a table, staring at something.

ita: "Where is he?"

We cut to a shot from Jeff's point of view as he glances back and forth from a TV to a computer screen around, occasionally rewinding the tape he's watching.

DXMachina: "I think he's working on tonight's promo..."

Jeff first looks at the TV, then the shot cuts back to the keyboard, where we see his fingers typing.

Nutty: "Well somebody go get him. That was the plan, right?"

Jeff, still typing and looking very puzzled. He cranes his head forward, listening intently to make sure he gets the dialogue right.

DavidS: "I brought him a bunch of early Buffy comics I picked up at the Amoeba..."

The shot switches back to Jeff point of view as we see some Buffistas (Teppy, Trudy, and Askye) in the background, doing Wednesday night episode discussion. He focuses again on the images on the screen.

Nilly: "It's his birthday, you know."

The shot focuses back on Jeff, as he straightens up and looks pleased. He hits the post key, and the newly minted Mejia appears in the thread. Behind him, we can see Perkins and Aimee wheel in a cake, while Emily and vw frantically work on getting the candles lit.

msbelle: "Ummm, pink frosting."

Cut to scene of amych wielding a saber.

amych: "I'll cut it."

Cut to scene of huge group of Buffistas raising their glasses in Jeff's direction.

All Buffistas: "Happy Birthday, Jeff!!!"

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

After that post, how could I disappoint?

Here is the promo breakdown for next week's Angel episode, "Hell Bound" :

Narrator: Next Wednesday on the WB...

We open on a shot of Spike standing in an empty office. It is at night, and the area is dark.

Quickly cut to a shot of Spike turning and looking to his right. The camera pans with the move and we a zombified man wearing a suit and tie standing there.

Fade to a shot of Fred standing in a shower with blue tiling. Her back is to the camera, and she is facing away form it. She turns to look over her right shoulder towards the camera location. Steam is visible. This is shot very close in, so we only see Fred from the neck up.

Narrator: Spike is being pulled into the shadows of the dammned.

Fade to a shot of Spike walking down a darkened corridor (no safety lighting visible, only pale, reflected light).

Cut to a shot of the camera moving through a dark, dusty corridor, and then the angle moves around a corner to reveal a sparse room, with a figure seated at a bare table at the end of the room. A naked light bulb is hanging from the ceiling, and it flashes bright and dim.

Fade to a shot of Spike standing in the empty office, as he looks around. This is lit with reflected safety lights from the corridors outside the office. Spike turns and looks around.

Pull back and way up to see Spike standing alone in the middle of a room, perhaps a conference room, lit with the safety lightings.

Fade to a shot of Angel (in a suit, but no tie) standing in his office. A hooded figure is standing, out of focus, behind him.

Angel: "Some people, can't be saved."

Cut to a shot of a bare-chested (at least) Spike in extreme foreground, while 2 zombie figures, one a woman, one a man, can be seen in the very dark room lit only by pale (maybe moon-) light.

Cut to an extreme close up of Spike, standing in a lit office with a very puzzled look on his face.

Fade to a shot of Angel, Gunn, Eve, Fred, and Wesley standing in a bare, darkened room (but it has more light than the pale lighting seen elsewhere). Eve may be talking, but there is not sound in the shot.

Narrator: This episode of Angel contains graphic images...

Fade to a shot of Spike in the darkened, empty office.

Fade to a shot of a hand pressing up against steamed glass, with someone on the other side of the glass.

Pull back to see Fred standing in her shower, barely visible at all through the steam.

Cut to a shot of Fred standing in the middle of her lab, holding some books in her hand. She is looking up into the air around her.

Fred: "Spike?"

Fade to a close up of Spike in the darkened office, looking very worried.

Narrator: ...and partial nudity.

We switch to a shot of an empty office corridor, lit with normal office lighting, but then the lighting starts to dim as shadows seem to overcome the place, then all the lights go out in sequence.

Cut to a shot of Angel, in his well-lit office (it may be day), standing up and looking angry.

Fade to a shot of Fred's lab, where we see Spike and Fred (holding books) standing. Spike is looking up into the air.

Spike: "You're not taking me!"

Fade to black, then fade in on the graphic VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED.

Narrator: Viewer discretion is advised.

Fade to black, then fade in on a close up of Spike, this time from behind him as he turns to look over his right shoulder. The lighting appears to be the safety lighting.

Fade to black, then fade in on another shot of Spike, but this time he's only lit by pale light that illuminates just the left side of his face as he stolls towards the camera.

Disembodied girl's voice (sing-song): "...one's gonna get you."

Fade to black, then fade in on Spike standing in the bare, dusty room with the table and the naked light bulb. Spike, too, appears naked, at least from the chest up in this shot. He looks confused and frightened.

We get a white flash, then see a negative a figure writhing in pain, then it switches into a positive image, ,where we can tell that it is somebody screaming and shaking its head, perhaps because barbed wire is wrapped around it, lacerating the bare skin.

We also get a flash of a hand with a metal tine coming out of its middle fingernail.

After another flash of the figure (which looks to be most likely Spike), we cut to a shot of a door with a square security window opened in it. Through the opening, we can see into a corridor. Almost completely blocking the view of the corridor is Angel, looking serious. Standing to his left and a little behind is a woman, most likely Eve.

Angel: "Welcome to Hell."

Cut to a shot of naked Spike, squatting and hunched over, with his arms covering his chest, as he huddles in fear or pain. This shot is alternated quickly with black screens to create a strobe effect.

Cut to a different shot of naked Spke. This time he is leaning towards the left of the camrea and screaming in pain or horror. This, too, is alternated with black screens for the strobe effect.

Finish on the shot of Spike walking down a corridor with light illuminating only his right side. To the left of him, the Angel logo appears, as well as some ghostly, blue flames.

Narrator: All-new Angel, next week on the WB Wednesday night.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Here is the promo breakdown for next week's Angel episode, "Life of the Party" :

Narrator: Next Wednesday...

We open on a shot of Lorne dancing amidst a throng of people. Harmony is tanding behind him, dancing and smiling.

Flash white, fade to black, then fade in on Angel, naked (at least from the waist up as we can see) striding towards the camera. This appears to be in his bathroom, as he walks by a towel rack and steam surrounds him.

Narrator: It's been centuries...

Cut to another shot of the dance floor, where we see Harmony as the center of attention. Some kind of demonoid can be seen dancing it up with the crowd.

Flash white, then cut to a shot of Gunn, with a drink in his left hand, leaning in to talk to or listen to a guy with his back to the camera. Lorne stands behind him, looking out at the dance floor.

Jump cut to a shot of Gunn turned to his left and walking away from where he was, with a smile on his face and his right thumb in the "thumbs up" position.

Flash white, then fade to black, and fade in on the power shot of Gunn, Angel, and Wesley striding through the Wolfram and Hart lobby from the opening episode, the one where Gunn is holding a basketball.

Narrator: ...since L.A.'s most eligible vampire...

Fade to black, the fade in on a shot of Angel seated in a car. It is night.

Pull back to reveal Lorne and Angel seated in a limo. Lorne holds a drink in his hand as he talks to Angel.

Lorne: "Smile, and, try not to rip anybody apart, OK?"

Cut to a shot of a disco ball.

Pull back to a longer shot of the disco ball.

Narrator: ...had a Halloween party.

Flash white, then fade in on a blurry shot of Lorne standing next to Angel, in the party room, as a guy next to Lorne consults some book or clipboard.

Flash white, then cut to a blurry close up of Spike, grinning ear-to-ear at the party.

Flash white, then cut to an overhead shot of the dance floor.

Flash white, then cut to a shot of Wesley and Fred on the dance floor, dancing very close together. Fred has her arms around Wesley's shoulders. This shot is blurry, too.

Flash white, then cut to an extra-blurry shot of Lorne whooping it up on the dance floor.

Flash with, then cut to Angel kissing what looks like Eve, in a serious clinch. The shot continues as they rotate themselves off-camera.

Jump cut to a shot of Fred, Gunn, Lorne, and Wesley standing in Angel's office (or apartment?). They are standing with their backs to the camera and are slowly turning towards the camera location.

Reverse to a shot of Angel and Eve? on a couch, Angel naked (from the waist up, at least as far as we see). They are in front of the window, and are turned towards the camera in a "gotcha" pose.

Reverse the shot again, where we see the MoG standing with looks of shock on their faces, but Spike has joined the shot. He is in the foreground, and has his left arm extended out and his left thumb up in the "thumbs up" position.

Spike: "Hey! Angel's gettin' some! Good on you, mate!"

Cut to a shot of a disco ball, as the Angel logo appears on screen.

Narrator: All-new Angel, next week on the WB Wednesday night.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

Here is the promo breakdown for next week's Angel epsiode, "The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco" :

Narrator: Next Wednesday...

We open on a close up of Angel. He is standing outdoors, at night, with what maybe a bonfire behind him. He is pontificating on some subject.

Angel: "Nobody asks us to go out and fight."

Cut to a shot of Angel fighting somebody with long hair wearing a mask.

Cut to a shot of Wesley intently surveying the scene. He is holding a rifle or shotgun (pointing skyward at this moment) in his hands. The scene could be a warehouse or docks, since cartons are visible behind Wesley.

Cut to a shot of Gunn, in the same warehouse environment, charging from left to right in the field of vision, as he is bringing a sword down on somebody or thing (oh, and Gunn is dressed in a suit).

Narrator: Angel has helped all kinds.

Cut to a scene from the teaser of "Conviction", where Angel is fighting the vampire while the blonde woman watches.

Cut to a shot of a blonde woman wearing an outfit from the 18th or 19th century, with a bonnet.

Cut to a shot of the demon duke that was seen in "Life of the Party", seated on his throne.

Fade to a shot of Nina from "Unleashed", as she is reunited with her family.

Fade back to the opening shot of Angel pontificating.

Angel: "We do it because we can,..."

Fade to black, then fade in on Angel strinding forward in a warehouse, carrying a serious look on his face.

Fade to a shot of Angel (driving), Spike (in the passenger seat), Gunn and Wesley (in the back seat) as they tool around an LA street at night in a red convertible (top down, natch).

Zoom in to a close up of Angel at the wheel as he reacts to something on the road and spins the car into a skid turn.

Cut to the back seat, where we see Wesley and Gun lean to the right into the turn. Wesley apparently was reading a map. Amazingly, he folds the map as the car turns into the skid.

Narrator: But nothing ...

Angel (VO): "...because we know how."

Cut to a long shot of the car skidding sideways.

Move nto a closer shot of the car sliding to a stop.

Fade to black, then fade in on Angel looking up. Someone in a wrestler's mask is leaning on his shoulder.

Narrator: ...will prepare him for this.

Cut to a shot of four guys in suits, all wearing Mexican wrestling masks. They are standing in a cemetary, and the four of them hold out their arms as though preparing for battle.

Ole! (This is only an approximation, I'm sure it's something different). (Also note that Mexican music is playing on the promo soundtrack).

Cut to a shot of Angel standing in the cemetary, looking on in confusion. Some of the tombstones behind him are festooned with flowers. One of the masked guys runs by in front of the camera from right to left.

Cut to a shot where we see on of the masked guys run up and jump on a thin pole that two of the other guys are holding about a foot off of the gournd. As the guy jumps on the pole, the holders stand up and throw the guy high in the air.

Pull back to see the guy doing a somersault in the air.

The somersaulting guy lands on some kind of demon and begins pummeling it.

Cut back to a close up of Angel, looking on in bemused confusion.

Cue the Angel logo.
