Noticed this random quote. According to my infallible braaaiiiin, I believe "My hand of god." should be "My hand to god.".
This site says so. Shrift disagrees. I believe it's Shrift that made the random quote generator, no? Here's the audio clip. Hard to make out, but it sounds like "to god" to me.
ETA: Just checked the English subtitles for that scene on the DVD, and they think it's "to god" also. Ok, the horse is dead now.
Shrift didn't do that particular random quote generator, only the Buffista RQG. Nilly provided the majority of the Firefly quotes for the one you're talking about. "My hand to god" makes more sense to me.
