It looks like it's happening on quotes that don't start the post ...

Also, for reference or research, in Natter, the following are having various quick edit issues: 3486, 3490, 3492, 3499, 3502, 3505, 3514 & 3519.

I'm seeing assorted characters at the end of the post that aren't in my original post, and don't belong there. It changes from page view to page view.
I have no idea what that was, DX, or why you're so special. I put the old code back (I'd swapped it out a couple hours ago), but I'm going to have to look at the entry in the database -- please don't edit the post.
It seems okay now, but here's a screenshot of what I was getting:
The characters at the end of the post varied from refresh to refresh.
