This girl at school? She told me that gelatin is made from ground-up cow's feet and that every time you eat Jell-O there's some cow out there limping around without any feet. But I told her that I'm sure the cow is dead before they cut its feet off, right?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Ooooh, that actually just came in handy. I hadn't unsubscribed from the last Natter yet and that just made it so much easier. Thankee, thankee.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I wonder if the culling of quotes has begun.

No, not yet. I hope to have the list to ita in a day or so.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I also dropped in code for unmarking posts in place. A couple others that are bigger are awaiting testing and un-uglifying.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Something weird is happening in Bitches...

No, no, not that. Techy weird. It just jumped ten posts on us.

I know -- I just adjusted some code. Working on another fix. And then yanking it, because it was increasing doubling of post numbers.

Good to know, we were going to start telling ghost stories in Bitches.

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

Yay! Two more things for my "recently finished" list! They're very shiny, ita. *uses them* (Am I right in thinking that 'mark' and 'block' now have the same return-to-page behaviour as 'edit'? 'Cos that's on the to-do list as well, but I don't remember what they did before....)

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

(Am I right in thinking that 'mark' and 'block' now have the same return-to-page behaviour as 'edit'? 'Cos that's on the to-do list as well, but I don't remember what they did before....)

No, that part doesn't seem to have changed yet.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

Cory Doctorow's Whuffie economy would be great for this -- it would be great if you could collect a little reward every time your Subscribe button made somebody happy. It will happen so many times every day without you knowing about it. I just recently came back from a long darkness and the threadsuck, user filter, and quickedits have all been wowing me with their convenience compared to other boards.
