And now my boy's in love. All hearts and flowers. But, doesn't it freak you out that she used to change your diapers? I mean, when you think about it, the first woman you boned is the closest thing you've ever had to a mother. Doing your mom and trying to kill your dad. Hm. There should be a play.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I just got this quote:

Been following the footsteps of a carpenter for some time now. I think I can do something about ourfortifications. Book, 'Heart Of Gold'

Can someone fix the typo?

I can't even.

I will confer with Nilly before I send the file back to ita. This may not be a quick process, but it will be done someday.

This makes me somewhat less qualmy, Lee. I had typed a post yesterday saying the stuff that Kat said very well, then figured I would let it lie a bit.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Thanks, Lee!

I don't mean to be a nudge, I just don't want to step on toes (or at least not in this instance).

ETA: And I have a very pretty number.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Can someone fix the typo?

I fix the typo, and next thing you axe the quote, and then how will I feel?

Used, let me tell you.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

In a good way, hopefully.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Windsparrow, sure. That seems like a good place to start. I'm not going to be able to do much with it until after Christmas. There's too much other stuff going on right this minute.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Quick question about the Random Quote Generator: When I'm in the message center and refresh the page, the RQG will show a new quote for 2 seconds and then pull a new quote and settle on that. I'm just wondering what's causing this to happen. (It doesn't do this when I'm in a thread and refresh.)

All is well that ends in pizza.

You'd do a deathmatch, but only after the franchise is done?

Well, I didn't say I'd do a deathmatch. But I think doing one before the franchise is done seems premature.

Doesn't deathmatch refer to the elimination of competitors, winner take all? I guess I assumed the quotes deathmatch name came from "Celebrity Deathmatch" type of thing, not because the shows were over.

They were over, and that's true, but it seemed more from boredom and finding something to do that was fun, than mourning or celebrating the demise of the shows.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Well, I didn't say I'd do a deathmatch. But I think doing one before the franchise is done seems premature.

I don't watch Firefly, and I don't deathmatch, but Buffistas were deathmatching for years while the shows were going on. Being tied to the shows ending is a new thing.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

We've done season-ender deathmatches for yonks before the series ended.
