Do you have problems, concerns or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.

Is it normal that when my account got reactivated, my subscriptions to threads had disappeared, but my filter settings had not?
Your subs are definitely not supposed to disappear -- deactivating an account is one flag in one table, far from the subs.
Has it happened before?
I don't think it did last time. I don't remember for sure though.
I just tried to get into Goodbye and Good Riddence and I got this error message:
502 Connection Failed. This Web page could not be opened. There may be too many people accessing this page or the page may be unavailable. Please try again later.
I went back to try again and it worked. Just thought I'd let you all know.
Daniel suggested I mention this here: The show quotes at the top of the pages, the ones that randomly refresh for each new click - at least for me, they have been coming up about 7:1 Firefly to Buffy.
Is it some weird statistical anomaly, or is it just how the selections in the database are skewed at the moment? Or is the board trying to educate me on how great Firefly is, seeing as I haven't seen it?
Windsparrow, it's that the database has a lot more Firefly quotes than the other shows, because Nilly supplied her entire list of Firefly quotes.
There are 1000 quotes in the system, and 720 of them are from Firefly. I forget who's currently in charge of collecting and formatting quotes for delivery to me -- if there is actually anyone -- but I haven't received any new ones despite the initial shock at the new distribution.
Aha, thanks, Consuela. Thought it might be something like that but I wasn't sure.
And thanks, too, Ita. Is the formatting to be done mostly grunt-work that would be easy to explain to someone with a very basic knowledge of html (i.e. me. eep, I think I just semi-volunteered) or is it something best done by someone who already knows enough about the running of this board to not need instructions?
Cuz I have been known to grunt.
Err....
Oy. Everything is my fault.
