The version in [link] uses Tidy to do the work on display. I didn't see any negative performance hits.
The board is protected from mismatched delimiters, with no automatic repairs made.
Contexted links for raw urls, and "m" for tiny-font are the only functional changes.
(ita, I stripped out all the code I put in that is now being handled by Tidy.)

'm' for microtext is only in the lab, P-C. Tidy is a tool for fixing html. Also only in the lab.
