... minor change options for the front runners: link
Three and five got no love, so are zapped.
Do you have problems, concerns or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.
1 a & b - I like b better. I guess I would have to see it in the middle of a series of posts to see how much it stands out.
2 a & b - the seals look too much like a rubber stamp endorsement instead of a "Hey You - Stop That".
4 - This is very "Hey You - Stop That".
eta - fix numbering.
My problem with three four is that it makes light of the situation. If it's mostly going to be used in situations requiring an official warning, I'm not sure making light of the situation is the way to go.
DX - I had meant 4 not 3, if you are referring to my post.
Nah, lexine, I was talking about Gus's options and got the number wrong. Fixed now.
Ok -we both made the same numbering mistake.
I was not thinking that one made light anything, but I can see how others may interpret that differently. My thought was that this would not be used often and should make a bold statement. I would not want a stompy warning to be lost in the middle of a bunch of posts and thought number 4 stood out the most. That being said, either 1a or 1b might do the same, just a little less.
I like the ones that look like stamps the most. Wondering however, if the logo can be massaged to put the .org more under the Buffistas, so both can be bigger, relative to the rest of the text.
...added a "2d", reflecting ita's notion.
I like the boot. I think it shows some of the tone of the board without being flippant. The stamps don't seem as eye-catching or weighty, but if we go with one of them I'd say 2d is the best.
I like 1b.
