You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

I think Gus said he was just gathering addresses.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Well, yeah, sort of. As of an hour or so ago he had a list consisting of me.

We could just do that. Should I post in Press Beep Me that folks should e- Gus? Or ask Gus to, so his profile addy will be easier to find?

Yup.

If you set up a list, you don't have to send your e-mail address to Gus (or whoever runs it). Once it's set up, anyone who wants to be on the list just has to subscribe.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

If it's autosubscribe, what's required of the person who maintains it? Just handling the un-subbing?

Thank you again, DX. I think Gus is going to pop in later.

You can choose it to be autosubscribe, or the admin can approve subscriptions (his/her choice), but yeah, there's really not a lot to do.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

The position of SQL Volunteer does continue to be open, tommyrot, and you are blessed for volunteering for it.

Msbelle has been coordinating this, but is away for the evening. You could e-mail ita directly as well, I think.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Tom Scola has to set it up. I'm not sure about the exact software he installed, nor the command line workings of it.

Tommyrot! Hit me up with your experience. Mostly so I know if I need to go comment code.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Is someone explicitly taking responsibility for the list? That's all I need to set one up.
