Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Seems as fast to me, on my old, slow work machine.

Haven't noticed any change in speed.

Our wings are not tired.

Speed seems the same to me. Quotes! Yay!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I haven't noticed any slowdown at work, but I'll see how it is at home on dial-up.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Hmmm...

Looking at the system stats, it turns out there is always a system spike on weekdays between 11:00am and 1:00pm board time.

Today's spike was a little larger than usual; the board did slow down at the time the quote generator was reenabled, but there's no way to establish if those two events were correlated.

We need to see if the performance of the board is impacted over several days.

I can make pretty graphs, if you like.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I can make pretty graphs, if you like.

Shiny!

As one who was griping about a big slowdown, I have to say that it does seem much faster now. I'd be very interested to know what shows up with a little more time (and pretty graphs).

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

We could always tie the random quote generator to a cron job, have the quote change only once a day...

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Yep. I proposed that ages ago. However, as ita pointed out, that requires work. :)

move out and draw fire

Hey! Changing quotes! Sweeeeeet....

I notice no degradation of service.

I'm on my dial-up at home, no noticeable difference in speed.
