You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Yes. .org is correct.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

.net should be closed, or pointed to here, or something, no? I can see where it would be confusing....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

.net's been a working test version of here since we moved to Fangeek, actually.

But I'll make it so no one can get in.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Do you know which mailing list manager we were using on the old site? Unless someone has a better suggestion, I'm going to go and install mailman. It will have to wait until after Xmas, though.

Tom, I'm pretty sure we had mailman at the other site.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Nillytown is missing post 107.

I've noticed a lot of skipped numbers in threads recently. Is that just a quirk of the new system or are posts actually getting lost?

Oops, didn't need to be said twice. But while I'm here, I just want to express appreciation to ita and the BBaBBettes for all their hard work on the seamless move of the board.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Huh.

For the second time, or the third, if you count the missing post 1 in Spoilers, a thread has told me there are two new, when there's just the one.

This happened with the first post in Beep Me post move, and again in Minearverse just now.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Huh. Okay. THere have been a number of times recently that I have checked my message center page, seen that a thread has two new messages, and when I clicked on that thread to read them, only found one new message.

I just had this happen in Minearverse, and when I looked close, a post number was skipped.

So, the message center page seems to be counting by post numbers, rather than actual new posts, OR posts are getting eaten, but the posters making them aren't saying anything about it.
