No, I'm not subbed to them, but they are still listed in the list of threads you can be subbed to.
Yep, makes sense. The list you're seeing does include a bunch of older threads, but not all of them -- if you look closely, for instance, you should see that the oldest Natter thread there is #10. They disappear from that list as they get archived and removed from the site.
It is possible to be subbed, practically speaking, to closed threads, because it's not good to yank natter #319 out of your reading list just because you missed a day and we're on natter 372.
Archived threads, though -- those are gone off all lists.
It's better to unsub from closed threads once you're done reading them, because the searching for "read new" will be quicker that way. But it's not something we can automate.
I can't see Natter or Bitches. The other threads show up. Is anybody else having this problem?
Greetings from the nudger - have all the techies weighed in on which istrata option we want to take? Have we made contact with istrata and asked our "we might be a difficult community" questions? Or are we waiting on someting else before doing this?
cause hey, the sooner we get there and settled the sooner we bring that list-o-projects out. WOO.
As far as I knew, there was only one Istrata option up for use -- did I miss something?
Basically, the timing on the archiving is more of a determining factor.

There are a couple of different options. I think the primary difference is the speed of the processor on the server.
Oh. I only skipped past all but the $99 IGHz one -- and skimming back I don't see the other. Is it faster?
Yes. The next option up was $129 a month and had a 2.4 Ghz P4 processor.
What processor are we on now, Kristen, and what was the speed of the one you proposed?
