"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Hey, developer types!!

LOVE the new error message. I was getting kind of tired of the old one, clever though it was.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

It would have been nice if we could have gotten a restart before we had to make a decision.

Okay, folks, the FanGeek offer is now off the table. I've told Steven that, given the non-events of last night, I'm passing and I thanked him for his efforts.

My recommendation, at this point, would be the istrata proposal. Though I would suggest that since it is cheaper, you spend some extra money up front and go for the RAM upgrade. If you could please make a decision and let me know what you plan to do in the next week, I'd appreciate it.

Jesse, you should have something from me this afternoon.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Thanks for your efforts, Kristen.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I think that mysql was just restarted.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Now I'm getting the old error message, instead of the new one, which I was getting five minutes ago on the same machine, same browser. Huh.

It was a slightly different error message from before. We were getting a connection refused error, rather than one saying we were exceeding max_user_connections.

I think that mysql was just restarted.

Now there's a shocking development. Tom, how long do you think the board might have before the connections start creeping up again?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Wow, no messages in ten minutes or so. Strangely freeing.

What's that do to our timeline? IOW, what decisions do we make now, if the Fangeek offer is off the table? Or is it still off?

Color me confused, which is similar to octaroon, but with less puce.

We know that mysql was up for 37 days. We just have to match that up with when the error messages started to get an idea of how long it will take.
