Where'd they get CAT scan from?... I mean, did they test it on cats? Or does the machine sort of look like a cat?

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Now I'm getting the old error message, instead of the new one, which I was getting five minutes ago on the same machine, same browser. Huh.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

It was a slightly different error message from before. We were getting a connection refused error, rather than one saying we were exceeding max_user_connections.

I think that mysql was just restarted.

Now there's a shocking development. Tom, how long do you think the board might have before the connections start creeping up again?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Wow, no messages in ten minutes or so. Strangely freeing.

What's that do to our timeline? IOW, what decisions do we make now, if the Fangeek offer is off the table? Or is it still off?

Color me confused, which is similar to octaroon, but with less puce.

We know that mysql was up for 37 days. We just have to match that up with when the error messages started to get an idea of how long it will take.

Oh good thought. I'm just wondering if we'll be able to get you guys moved before it gets all wacky again.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

October 15th was when it all went pear shaped, IIRC.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

When was the earlier instance of board wackiness -- not the current mysql problem, the one before that?

About a month before that, I think.

I can't believe I forgot my birthday present from the server.
