I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

Nobody

Tom, I'm on the fly. He's made a few posts on it. Here's what I could find. The first time I can see that Rob mentioned istrata was here:

THIS might be the current proposal: Rob "Buffistas Building a Better Board" Oct 23, 2003 11:16:35 pm PDT

I'm not certain which is which. I'm just an imitation Nilly.

Good luck geekistas.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The one major concern I have with Steve's offer is the required year committment. It seems like it has the potential to make many lives on all sides of this unpleasant if things don't work out, for whatever reason.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Rob's suggestion does sound like it's worth looking into. I lack knowledge in that area, so I'm happy to leave the final decision up to others.

Also of the opinion that Kristen shouldn't refund us. We've been way more of a PITA than $20/month can cover. You've more than earned it.

Eh. Never mind.

Okay, as a side note?

I'm dying to know why Kristen doesn't have time to read her torso. Why not? What's written there? Do you have to use a mirror, and if so, does the writing appear backwards?

Kristen - Oct 24, 2003 9:46:45 am PDT #5706 of 10000

This is so embarassing. It's from something I saw on TV. But I'll be damned if I can remember what show.

Kristen - Oct 24, 2003 9:57:24 am PDT #5707 of 10000

Okay, it's almost noon and I'm starving. I'm going to Taco Bell.

I'll email Steven when I get back and let him know you guys aren't interested so we're passing on the offer.

Kristen - Oct 24, 2003 10:35:06 am PDT #5708 of 10000

ita, did you see my earlier post about taking out the explicit closes?

§ ita § - Oct 24, 2003 10:38:56 am PDT #5709 of 10000
Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I had not, and now have, Kristen, so I'll yank them in a little and report back here when I have.

Huh.

So Steven might be able to extend the offer. [ETA: Apparently, his reason for the deadline was the RAM prices being all over the place and him having a solid price from his supplier that had an expiration date.]

He's also willing to throw in another 512 MB of RAM and another hard drive.

This is unexpected.

ETA: Cool, ita! I just had this idea based on something that someone, Rob maybe, said about closing the connections. I'm not actually sure I can articulate it but it makes sense in my brain, if that makes you feel any better.
