Whether stompies and in-the-know folks do anything to fix this almost mystical disturbance to the board or not, I just wanted to say thanks before I go home. While this might be a bit of annoyance for us (the fun of the Magic 8 Ball does fade after a while..) it is just that and not any kind of task to take up time in my day or weekend.

So thanks for all your work and concern tech folk who make the Phoenix function.

Observaton of unknown usefulness: I posted in Bitches, got the error message, swore, hit refresh so I could retype the post and saw the post was there anyway. Hit Read New, got the message, refreshed, got the Message Center, came in here.

So I think were getting closer to the cure: swearing. We need to swear more out loud and in posts and see if that works.

One thing that hadn't happened before that just did: I got like a split screen crazy thing. Not where the error message is only on the right hand side of the board - but no error at all - just a board split in weird not-meeting-up-columns showing posts all broken up in Natter. Hard to explain. But never had seen that one.

Oh yeah: FUUUUCK!

Just got the error message 3 minutes ago. It's not a high traffic time, to say the least, so I thought I'd mention it. I got at least one an hour or so ago, too, but wasn't awake enough to mention that one.

I've gotten the error three times in the last fifteen minutes.

One other difference I've noticed between this time and last time. Here are the error messages.

Sometime in the last three weeks giles.php picked up an additional line of code. Do we know when that happened?

Post 1896 is missing.

The last time this happened, we closed the board for a day or two, and the error went away. Maybe we ought to close for the weekend, and see what happens.
