Hey, another Thought That Occured To Me In The Shower, now that we've been here a week or so, (and had an actual show go to air) what's the bandwidth like, how many hits have we generated, etc?

I'm curious to see how we're getting along. We made rough calculations that we should be way under the maximum for this hosting account, but I'd like to know.

I had a fatal error on my 11:33 post attempt in UnAmericans. I had opened the home page in another window and clicked into Buffy 1 to copy a post.

(Didn't lose my post, though -- Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C. Always!)

Which does put our projected monthly bandwidth (for Oct) at 22GB, and our account is for 20GB. Good catch, John.

So, shall we put that one down to first-night, opening-party overabundance or what? Are we really going to go over? And what does it cost us to go over anyway?

It covers opening night, Buffy premiere, and the Firefly premiere. I'm going to wager it's quite the peak reading, but I will check with HostRocket to see what the penalty/cost for exceeding is.

We're going to have to start a promotional drive for skipping and skimming. Miracleman and billytea will be encouraged to post directly to COMM so people won't look through Natter for their posts. I can give up reading The Quotable Buffy for Lent.
