I'm in favor of option 3. But I want us to be workable. So for me, the big thing is identifying the causes of the current problem of server overload and the anticipated future problems of space. I also hope that we're able to retain a cohesive site, and pay for additional necessary room if we can, rather than branch out to individuals' sites.

I like option 1, and think the Nilly links should be left as is, but turned into plain text, so that people can download the zipped thread, check Nillytown for the post #, and find it using Crtl-F.

Right now.
Huh. Jon, the form gave me an invalid email address message.
Tiny thought I had taking a fresh look at the interface here -- TITLE attributes on the links at the bottom of a thread page would be good, the ones which read
Read New | First | Previous | Next | Last | Recent
that is.
If I could hover over them and be reminded that "Last" means "go to the last post on a page by itself" as opposed to "Recent" which means "go to the last full page of posts" -- or whatever, it would save me some head-scratching, and also might save me inadvertently marking some posts as read.
Plei - What email address were you using? If you used the default address, I'm baffled. If you filled in an alternate address, maybe there were a leading or trailing space? In either case, I won't be able to look at it until tonight. You'll have to send a regular email or wait.

The same thing happened with me this morning. And I *did* use the default address.
Me three, as I already posted in Bureaucracy.
