Do you have problems, concerns or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.

I seem to be experiencing a lot of deja vu myself in the Bureaucracy and Firefly threads. Perhaps the <clears throat> MARCIE FILTER would correct this technical problem?
Oh, dear.
Quick question - and I apologize if this came up before since I haven't gone through this thread in its entirety - I know there's a search function on the board, but it took me a long time to figure out how to get there, i.e. you substitute "index" in the home page url with "search", right? I was wondering, being such a lazy ass and all - is there any way we could put a "search" link on the left hand corner of the board, under "board how-to" or something? That way, it's right there for easy use.
The search function is not ready yet, in a technical sense, so it's not being publicised. It might move or change for instance. You'd better put a bookmark if you want to use it regularly.
It's still in beta, which is the reason it's not advertised yet. One of the things we want to do is keep people who aren't logged-in members from searching for posts.
Ooh, I didn't know that. That makes sense. Will bookmark it as suggested in the meantime. Thanks.
I put it in the "Links" folder of my IE Favorites so it has its own button.

We do? We're not doing a very good job of hiding the search engine, then. I don't have strong feelings either way, I'm just saying.
It's an eventual goal, I meant. Nothing now is stopping them except that they maybe can't find it.
