All of the sudden it seems like I always have to use the br tag for any sort of line break. I just posted in natter with 4 hard returns between my three sentances, and they still all ran together.
Let me try now...
Do you have problems, concerns or recommendations about the technical side of the Phoenix? Air them here. Compliments also welcome.

See- there are 2 "enters" in that post between together and "let me try now..."
It seems like I didn't used to have to do it, or am I nuts?

That's always been the case. Two hard returns gets you a new paragraph. One hard return gets you nothing except the end of any quick-edited text.
Are you posting from the same browser you always have?
There were some users ... Lynx IIRC ... who used to have that problem.
Huh. I went into edit, removed the line-breaks, then put them back in, and the paragraph break appeared. Weird. Can you do another one, Sophia, and I won't "correct" it this time?
I am posting from Opera 6. I was using Opera 5 and/or Opera 6 beta, I think.
I am using 2 or three or four hard returns, not just one.
This last one that I did has returns between "I think" and "I am"

Damn, there has to be a cogito ergo sum joke in there somewhere...
Hmm. Looking at the ASCII doesn't help much. Your post reads:
49 20 74 68 69 6e 6b 2e 0d 0a 0d 0a 0d 0a 49 20
for I think.

Let me paste it here:

edit: Yep -- that same stuff from the DB displays just fine for me. I'm not sure how you're bypassing the parsing, Sophia.
