We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think Jessica should volunteer to be the collector of the special ME ID numbers for all the eps she has on tape/disk.

Um, don't tape, and have no interest in this project. Sorry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think the projects intersect, Jon.

Certainly I'm the only one involved in both, and they aren't pulling from the same resource space of me.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

I'll volunteer to get the special ME ID numbers, but I may have to fake first season Angel codes until the DVDs come out, since I didn't tape all the shows then.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'll volunteer to get the special ME ID numbers, but I may have to fake first season Angel codes until the DVDs come out, since I didn't tape all the shows then.

Most episode guide sites have the codes with the episode numbers.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Certainly not a high priority, but as someone who just bounces on the "Read New" button, would it be possible to add a way to be automatically subscribed to new (non-NAFDA, non-spoiler, non-adult) threads?

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Either that, or a 'subscribe' button (edit: or link) in the thread.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Either that, or a 'subscribe' button in the thread.

Nah -- that wouldn't work. If you use Read New all the time, you won't ever even see the new thread unless you know a new thread is coming and go look for it in either Home or your profile. For my part, I remembered to go hunting for a new Natter this morning, but I frankly have no idea whether the Farscape thread ever got created or not. If it's there, it has never once crossed my radar.

One thought, although it's harder to code, would be a dialogue you'd get the first time you hit Read New after a thread's been added; something like "A new thread (title) (slug) has been created. Do you want to subscribe to it?"

It's there, BTW.

I figured it would be; as a non-Farscape watcher, I've just never made much of an effort to look for it -- but the point is, especially for people who use the Message Center rather than Buffistas Home as their default screen, having to go someplace else to hunt for new threads that may or may not be there isn't a great solution.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

See, I like the idea of a subscribe button in the thread, since it wouldn't make you go into the Profile page to subscribe. But it's no big deal.
