Whatever happened to the episode database idea?

Everyone loved it. But we got as far as some very complex table-relationship discussions about the best way to do it, and then the discussion fizzled out.

This is a far simpler project in terms of DBs and selects. Table of questions and multiple choice answers, plus a subject-relationship thing so we can have a many-to-many thing going on -- a question about Faith claiming Xander's virginity can be classified under Season number, Faith, Xander, Sex, and possibly "Up With People" references too...

My two cents on the practice project:

I'm biased more in favour of the episode guide (and wasn't it unslick of me to bring it up now, like it's either or, and distract from John's idea? Yes, it was, and I apologize) because I want one to use, right now.

I thought it fizzled because of timing (no more ideas to detract from the Phoenix!), not because of the complexity -- we had at least two comprehensive table designs completed, and interesting discussion.

I've wrapped my head around the architecture of the episode guide, and while I will promise no code, I will be available for/inclined to suggest/argue. Which may detract or recommend or neither.
