The only question I have is if they really want her to find Sylar or if they want her to find DL or Claire.

Enjoyed the episode, but knew as soon as Sylar's mom showed up she was a dead woman. I do find it interesting that Sylar was going to draw the line at killing off half of New York, though. He's got (or at least had) his own twisted sense of logic.
I have to wonder if HRG actually knows the "Walker System" is a little girl, or if he's only heard it mentioned. While I could sort of see him going the "necessary sacrifices" road, I doubt he believes even for a second he could get Ted and Parkman to back him on killing a little girl. I have a feeling, middle manager that he is, that he doesn't know what the system actually is.
Since Micah is in New York, it's possible Mama Petrelli was Candace, but I doubt it. She's been telling Nathan all season to not let his emotional attachments cloud his judgement.
No clue how Sylar managed to unfreeze time. Though I think Hiro touched him with the sword. Maybe he inadvertantly pulled Sylar into his time stream.
And now Hiro's sword is broken. Though I kind of wonder which sword got brought back from the future, the one he arrived there with, or Future!Hiro's sword. Not that it really matters now. Though, based on the previews, it looks like Daddy has another one.
Not really much to say this week, since this was mostly moving pieces into position. Agree with quester about Peter's planning skills.
I do seem to be reaching the point of "enjoy spending time with these people, no matter what they're doing." Hopefully that'll carry into next season.
I wasn't a huge fan of Sylar's Mommy issues -- the whole thing was way way heavy handed. (Though I do appreciate the subtle subversiveness of making his evilness the result of him not being a Jewish banker.)
The Walker program = Molly Walker, very nice.
Peter, sweetie, I know you believe in destiny and all, but when Claire says "That's Ted," i.e. The Guy Whose Power You Really Don't Want To Absorb, why in the world wouldn't you stay on the other side of the street? Wouldn't not meeting the guy in the first place be a lot less painful than becoming radioactive and then getting shot in the head? For everyone?

I thought Hiro unfroze time, since he can't affect objects while they're stopped. Or am I confusing his powers with one of the time-stopping objects from Lost Room?
[eta: Oh, and broken swords are hella powerful to people with destinies. Or so LotR has taught me.]
kinda feel sorry for Peter/Claire shippers because that is a whole lot of chemistry being wasted on sibling angst.
WORD.
Season finale is going to be awesome. That's about as much coherency as I got.
Hiro can interact with things when he's stopped time. He dragged DL and the girl they were saving away from the car explosion while time was stopped.
I also think that Sylar somehow stopped the time-stop. When Hiro got close to him his eye moved. Maybe it was the heart beat that broke through.
Also, I think Nathan has just started to plan in his head to de-rail Linderman and Mom's plan. He looked very squeamish as mom was putting his coat on him.
I thought Hiro unstopped time, but only because he lost concentration while anguishing over killing Sylar.
Maybe the time stop is less effective on other heroes? Future!Hiro went back in time, stopped time on the subway, and yet Peter wasn't frozen in time.
is it wrong that i find Sylar all kinds of hot?
tiggy, last night, I told Scott you posted this. He said, "Yes. It actually is exactly wrong."
"The Universe cannot be that lame"
Oh young Claire, so say we all.
I will say, this episode did not really do anything to discourage the Peter/Claire 'shippers. <whistles innocently>
Hush. I am sublimating my fam-yay.

It totally is. I find myself pretend-speculating that the Petrelli family fostered Peter, the way HRG fostered Claire.

That's what I thought at first, but then I wondered if she didn't say, "Dad," instead of Ted. Must re-watch.
IIRC, can't Hiro only "hold" time stopped for like 30 seconds or so? Maybe he just hesitated long enough.
I tell you one thing: seeing Mr Isaac lying with his head opened would take away a whole lot of my personal hesitancy to kill somebody.
