I think he paints futures possible. Maybe the most likely future possible. Though I'm trying to think of a painting of his that hasn't come true and drawing a blank.
I thought SylAn (this is a great name!) had said in the future timeline that Issac could paint the future, and that some of his work was spot on. (Paraphrasing, of course.) So perhaps Issac was painting the most likely future, and what we saw was just an abberation?

Make sense to me. It is not neccesarily that people "grew cold". But if it was appointent vieweing and then the network cancels the appointment for months, people may forget when it starts again. Heck, if not for the Buffistas, I might have forgotten to watch Heroes.

Yep. I almost forgot that Heroes and Supernatural were back the past couple of weeks. And I'm a big geek who's always online. If I were a more casual viewer, I know it would have slipped past me.
Of course, I think the whole TV season mode is a broken product of a bygone era, though, and needs to be revamped.
