I caught the accent, otherwise I wasn't sure who it was either.
Thank you, Melpomene! Awesome preview. Squeeee!
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the show and ancillary materials such as web comics! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it. Chuffa, Chuffa!

I thought that that was Candace helping HRG, I guess I was wrong about that. Was she anyone we know?
That's Hana.
I'm so glad they made this episode mean something. It actually fits into the linear plot because it's how Hiro gets the comic pages and figured out how to save the damn world.
One thought occurs to me. Future!Sylar is obviously about to kill Future!Peter who has Hiro powers. So even if Present!Hiro does everything right, and the heroes manage to kill present!sylar and stop NY from blowing up, Future!Sylar can still come back and start screwing with them. Don't think it will happen this season, but that means the writers have an options for Future!Sylar to be the villain next season, now with extra added super-powers.
t On Edit
True to the comics spirit too. No villain is ever so dead they can't come back bigger, meaner and more dangerous.
Someone at TWoP has a good point about the Peter/Sylar face-off. Since they both have Claire's regenerating powers now, that could be one long assed fight.
So even if Present!Hiro does everything right, and the heroes manage to kill present!sylar and stop NY from blowing up, Future!Sylar can still come back and start screwing with them.
But if they kill present!Sylar, doesn't future!Sylar cease to exist? His future self would have to come back before they kill his present self and stop them, no?
I remember this headache. I used to call it McFly.
Hmm, I wonder if the Haitian’s power is conscious, so Peter could sneak up on him and absorb his power. Or whether it’s constant, so the Haitian suppresses it around some people.
I think it's constant because the Haitian was busy with Hiro and Mohinder while Matt was waiting on Nummy Peter and Future Hiro and said, "The Haitian is up here, they'll be blocked." or something like that. So it would seem that he just has to be near.
I wonder if that wasn't also fucking up Peter's ability to heal after he saved Claire and looked all assy right before he passed out.
So, if Hiro kills Sylar, will there be a future Sylar to come back with super badass powers?
Edit: and Kristen asks my question, but better.
But if they kill present!Sylar, doesn't future!Sylar cease to exist?
I would think so.
His future self would have to come back before they kill his present self and stop them, no?
Maybe it's a shorter fight than we think.
You know, for that matter...Future Peter could come back and do stuff.
If they stop the bomb, however, the future we just saw could, conceivably, remain as an alternate timeline, in which case Future Sylar would survive. He could then jump back before the timelines diverged and hide out until sweeps next year.
You know, for that matter...Future Peter could come back and do stuff.
Would pay folding money for this.
The good folks at LiveJournal have informed me that Molly Walker...is the little girl Parkman saved way back in the second episode.
I love this show.

Ooooh... Awesome!

In the interrogation, Parkman was able to read Hiro's mind, while the Haitian was standing there, presumably preventing Hiro from teleporting away. I think the power to block other powers is something the Haitian can control.
