You never know if a girl's gonna say 'yes', or if she's gonna laugh in your face and pull out your still-beating heart and crush it into the ground with her heel.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Oh, he was Dale on the Riches! That's where I knew him from.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yeah, Dale on the Riches was a very memorable character. Nice to see him get work.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I caught up on a few episodes of Heroes yesterday, but I didn't tape last night's, and it is not available On Demand yet. I'm still kind of eh on this season, but I liked the Thanksgiving stuff with HRG and Claire. Hiro is not being smart at all, and it is getting annoying.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

Skipped out on Heroes last night to watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Second week in a row that I've missed the show and I'm still not caring all that much. I think I will pick it up when they go on hiatus. Wait, was Peter shirtless during the Sylar beatdown? Because that could increase my motivation to catch up tremendously.

Art Crawl!!!

Uh, no. No shirtless Peter.

But he was beating up Sylar.

And later when he was hugging Nathan, I kind of wished that Nathan would suddenly turn into Sylar with a massacre to follow. (It just seemed stupid - but we are talking Peter Petrelli.)

Also, I guess we must assume that unless Rene wills his power to work it doesn't block out powers otherwise how could Peter take that power?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Rene has always deliberately controlled his power. Sometimes he turns people off, sometimes he takes memories.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

And apparently the power-blocking doesn't work against the shape-shifting power.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I think it works against any power, but I assumed that Peter can control which powers he wants to block.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

You must have to direct it at a target, otherwise I'd just leave it on all the time.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Jesus, you'd think after all she's been through that Claire would know when she's being fed a load of bullshit.
