And apparently the power-blocking doesn't work against the shape-shifting power.

I think it works against any power, but I assumed that Peter can control which powers he wants to block.
You must have to direct it at a target, otherwise I'd just leave it on all the time.
Jesus, you'd think after all she's been through that Claire would know when she's being fed a load of bullshit.
I am so mad at Claire right now.
I don't get why anyone is buying Samuel's bullshit. Even before Lydia knew he was a murderer didn't they know him best as a drunk and a ne'er-do-well? Wasn't that all pretty recent? Now he's their saviour? But he's managed to talk everyone but Hiro round to his way of thinking.
I don't blame Samuel, I blame the writers.
But do you blame Hiro? And Peter?
I tend to give Hiro a break for being hopelessly naive. Peter is blinded by love. But the writers are ultimately responsible for both those things and for making Claire a dipshit as well.
Todd Stashwick was also the NBC exec on CYE. The actor has grown on me lots.
Nathan dies by falling off a building but then Sylar walks away? Ugh. Nathan was his own anvil, and it still felt off. Also, Peter better feel guilty for every bad thing Sylar does from now on, because he so should have killed him when he had the chance, and he knew that. Either way, I'm holding him responsible.
Who was Samuel talking about at the end as his real target? Gretchen?
