The graphic novel this week is a good 'un, although spoilery for next week. It also explains who the bomb is and why "Save the cheerleader" was so important.
Two words for how to dispose of Sylar: garbage disposal.
Two words to this: Nuh and Uh. I'd be afraid that the regenerative power could either still work should the ground up, gelatinous mass manage sufficient cohesion, OR worse yet, if eating the brains of supers gives you their power, do we really want whatever bacteria or small animals might have access to the sewage system to be eating Sylar's brain? Eeep. Just the thought of it... bleurgh.
Far better to completely dessicate the body, separate different bits to grind into powder and dispose of in diverse locations.
Or, dissolve it in acid.
I'd be afraid that the regenerative power could either still work should the ground up
He hadn't gotten that from Peter yet (and in fact had ruined his chances, I think - he may need the brain intact for what he does and he'd just put a big slice in Peter's). Even feeling pressed for time like he did, Mohinder should have found a large blunt instrument and made brain soup out of Sylar's head.
The way to get rid of Sylar is to tell Jessica that he knows where Micah is located.
So I've just started watching, but from what I've seen Sylar needs to eat someone's brain in order to gain his power? Is that really how it works? Because I gotta ask, how does a guy figure out that's his superpower?
Was he just nibbling away at another guy's brains because hey, a guy has to eat something, and brains is tasty eating... and then all of a sudden realized, HEY I THINK I HAVE NEW POWERS!
It's not eating, it's looking at (like the inside of a clock).
Okay, that's a little less Hannibal Lecter, but it still begs the question of how one learns that this is his superpower.
It came naturally enough to him. He has a need to see how things work. The introduction of Sylar was lovely with his watch fixing. His creepy is awesome.
Burrell, Sylar's real name is Gabriel Grey. He was a watchmaker with a knack for being able to see how things work. Then Mohinder's dad came to talk to him about the fact that he totally had a superpower, and the seeds of Nietszchian insanity that were already in him led him to see if that "how things work" thing extended to other people's superpowers.
Jon, interesting comic. It's odd that after trying to convince us that it's PETER who blows up (after we all assumed it was Sylar to begin with), they're saying it's Sylar after all. What does Peter's vision mean, then? (Also, shit, dude: if I read that right, he CAN survive after exploding! Claire is amazing!)
